That said - for some inexplicable reason the first 13 seconds of this clip play a quarter step too slow !

Here's a fixed version:

(edit - it now seems clear that the person who uploaded it to youtube made this edit so that it wouldn't be taken down for copyright reasons)

Was Rainbow before Freddie acquired nodules? Sounds pretty good.

Who knows when he acquired them. But they didn't start to reveal themselves until February 1975.

It's just perfect. They nailed it on stage.

It sounds like there is a short acapella bit at the very end. Awesome.

This is pure gold! You can tell from the clip that it wasn't easy to perform live, but it's a real shame they gave up with it before perfecting it a bit more.

I really can't wait for this release, and I hope it sells millions, which might give them the impetus to put out some other 70's concerts. One complete show from each tour would be simply awesome.

Shows like Houston 77 would be great

Houston is already out there in complete form and great quality.

Myself, I'd like to see the second night at Earls Court or the third night in Paris 79.

But for now, we have the Rainbow box. This is far more than most of us could have imagined.

... before it's even released?

Hang onto your knickers, son. Hopefully the buzz will last more than a few minutes.

Yes, yes and yes! Most of those harmonies are really spot on, and for a live performance of a really complicated and difficult song, well... it's just magical.

Mr.QueenFan wrote: I just don´t have words to describe how fucking wonderful this sounds. Roger Taylor is a fucking legend. Singing this with Freddie while playing drums. Then Freddie and John and Brian - i never expect it to be this good. Really unbelievable,
