Most of the songs cited suck. There's a reason why they were discarded. The only unreleased songs I've heard with any potential are I Guess We're Falling Out and Affairs. But from what we've heard, the vocals are very raw and incomplete. They're just demos of songs in their infancy, not remotely polished.
And, dare I say .... since this is a Freddie-related project, maybe this could bring John out of retirement? There were a few great tracks on The Cosmos Rocks, but even they were lacking without John's delicate, melodic bass work.
You'd think they would've used anything good for Made In Heaven and discarded the rest (they had to rehash 2 Freddie solo tracks to have enough material), but maybe there are songs they've forgotten about? I certainly don't remember every song I wrote even 5 years ago, never mind 30 years ago. So let's wait and see.

Personally, I don't know what quite to make of this. On one side, it gives a legit reason for Universal placing mostly rubbish on the bonus discs this year, so the great stuff could - and I said COULD - be on this 'Made in Heaven 2' album. But, on the other side of the coin, a lot of us already know the heavily-circulated demos like Face It Alone, I Guess We're Falling Out, and such. I, for one, have been searching endlessly for such treasures as Let Me In Your Heart Again ('83 version) and the Queen version of Freedom Train, but I keep running into the same old torrents. I can't find any gems like Back to Storm. Speaking of that song, I never knew it existed until recently. Many thanks to the Youtube legend David R. Fuller for finding it. In conclusion, I'm not expecting much. But if Brian and Roger can dish out an album worthy of good, fresh songs, I'll be happy.

Add 'Grand Dame' and 'Affairs' to the list.

I can conclude that we all know which demo's and unreleased songs are around. But I think for sure there are a few versions of heard Convention Songs that have a more complete form. So with more Freddie vocals and harmonies. Again referring to what I said before QP would be stupid to let complete songs hear on the conventions. copying would be to easy.
Recently David Richards let two new songs of the Barcelona sessions (Grand Dame and Affairs) listen to at the Italian Queen Convention... so what else could be found in the archives that we don't know about.

Whatever they thought they had to work with when they finished "Made In Heaven", now they have three more songs - I'm referring to the MJ tracks. IF (and that's a big IF) they go ahead with this I'm sure it will more than meet our expectations.

I read the Queenonline forum and it's amazed how many people are exited and hoping this to happen. I read Greg found a lot of material during the years and with the technology of 2011 the same thing can happen as MIH. They are waiting for an official word or post from Gary to confirm the news.

As for John Deacon there are a few solutions:
- Brian and Roger can both play bass (as they did on the TCR); so NO John - Brian and Roger can ask Neil Murray, Steve Barnacle or Danny Miranda; so NO John - John will be send some pre-worked tracks so he can play the bass parts at this homestudio. - John will be in the same studio with Brian and Roger and working together on the tracks but John stays out the publicity like press releases, interviews and promo activities ( Just like he did on Made in Heaven when released) - John will be 100% up for this project and will be involved in all press things ( Not so likely this will happen)

Face it Alone and Robbery are excellent but most of these won't work as complete songs because the lack of Freddie's vocals on the demos.

We don't know if these are the complete versions or just 'a take' from the songs FIA and Robbery

You Don't Fool was not a new track per se, it was built with various unrelated bits and pieces from the post-Innuendo sessions by David Richards.
And with the archives being worked upon for 16 friggin years, they must have more material like this now.

Are they just gonna call this "Made in Heaven II"? .. because technically that's what it really is. Also, it would be great to see John taking part of this but it probably won't happen.

This is AWESOME news!....
Just awesome enough to get a crippled kid like Timmy to jump out of bed from his fever and illness...and in a spate of delirium, jump out the window careening down to fall several stories below...
THEY DID IT!! THEY DID IT!!!
(final words)
Alright, Alright... ....Just an odd thing that came to mind...went overboard.
QUESTION TO THE FORUM: In one of my Queen timeline books, i recall mentioning a couple of sessions with OTHER groups that have yet to be released... One a gospel group and another...some pop star.
Though i don't have the extensive knowledge and resources of some Queenzoners, i'm just asking... does anybody know anything further about those recordings?... made sometime 75'-78?
Also, somewhere down the line, i'm sure vocal variations and ideas exist for further Brian May and Roger Taylor tracks... i'm sure they'd shown more than "HEAVEN FOR EVERYONE" and TMLWKY to FM.
Somewhere in the depths, there must also be a John Deacon song worse than Body Language in there (i'm aware JD didn't write Body Language,... i happen to like Back Chat).....something scrapped... with multiple vocal takes.
I'm assuming some of their sessions went on in live recordings in order to catch "moments".
This is wonderful news. I wish them ALL (all THREE) the best!
I'm sure John wouldn't let the old buzzards touch his music without his approval ;)

I'm skeptical. They made such a mess when the tried this in 1995.
