Rod Steward, Andy Gibb and Micheal Jackson could be some of the names.

Feel Like Rock It (studio version, Freddie on vocal)
Other complete tracks?
"Feel Like" is UP demo so what they should do with this? Make a new song? Bad idea. "Polar Bear" is very old song. Doesn't fit. The same as Hangman or Feelings. "Rock It" is released song. Why put released song again? BTW- they had chance to put Freddie's version on deluxe disc....
* Let me in * Freedom Train (?) some Rog/The Cross tracks ? * Face it Alone (finished with Bri/Rog vocals) * Fallin Out (finished with Bri/Rog vocals) * You are the Only One (finished with Bri/Rog vocals) * Affairs ((finished with Bri/Rog vocals)
+ some unleaked songs like Friends in Pain?
Songs like Robbery, Self Made Man, My Secret Fantasy are bad and I don't think that they can make it much better.

"Let me in" would be great. Hope it will be a single. Could be a massive smashhit.

I'm confused. Are they just going through their old unused recordings for the purpose of finding new songs for a new musical? Or are they working on a new release for us to hear Freddie on some "new" songs in addition to working on a musical using all separate material? Or are they going to do a movie musical using new talent plus original recordings from the band as part of the soundtrack or is this related to the on hold movie about Freddie possibly? Or are they doing a WWRY Part Two that will continue the story - whatever that was - and giving the audience more amazing Queen songs we are already familiar with, plus the exciting bonus of never released Queen songs?
Whatever they are up to, I'm all for it. I do think the key to future big success is to go back to the original magical combination of the four ... music they all worked on together.

@shamar
"Self Made Man" is really a matter of taste. You may think that it's bad. I think that it's one of the finest songs Queen never released. "Innuendo" would have been a stronger album with it.

I thought a bit about the various songs where Roger and Brian sung the lead vocal (demo's) because it was their song. From the various interviews I heard it seem Freddie only did the lead vocal if they decided that would be on the album (for example Ride the Wild Wind, Hitman , Days of Our Lives from Innuendo written by Roger and Brian) and the ones that possibly be on the album. So for the ones that didn't made the album I highly doubt, surely for the last albums Miracle, Innuendo and MIH, if these have a good full vocal track of Freddie.

How about: "Some Music Lost and Found" ;)
They should get Mack or Roy Baker to co-produce just to get back into that oldskool sound. Instead of those way too flangy swooshing bigger than life sounds they had on TCR.
WARBOYS could have sounded like THIS!!

shamar wrote: It's pure bullshit. We've got... November. Where da f. are songs with Michael Jackson? They said that they're working on these. That was months ago.
Don't believe the words... There won't be any MiH 2.
The MJ tracks can't surface without the approval of the MJJ estate executors (whom one of which was FIRED before MJ's passing)... [dubious Will and Testament... witnesses claiming MJ in their entourage on the day the document was allegedly signed]
soo.... without that approval... you won't see it.
Unless they were available much earlier... last time i remember the demos being LEAKED was around 2001? or whenever the Freddie Mercury 10CD + 2 DVD thing was being put together.
I thought it was a gesture from someone on the inside maybe to let people hear these.
I know that the Jacksons track VICTORY (or perhaps even a totally different song altogether than the Jacksons) was recorded with QUEEN.
(or so i've been told)
People on the "inside" have been working on MJ stuff and demos since the poor guy died. Studio guys as well. Onesuch Steve Lukather (session guitarist for MJ from Thriller - HISTORY...maybe even futher on) has commented on LEAKED tracks that were BEING CONSIDERED FOR USE ON MICHAEL (that mishhash cash-in that i never wanted to buy) ...but MANY WERE NOT USED. (probably put on the back burner for future release)
I've read his comments on his FB page (i own a Steve Lukather MusicMan Guitar...have been a fan of his playing... *NOT NECESSARILY of his band TOTO)
he's commented on fan comments about LEAKED songs that were considered for the "MICHAEL" album.
As i've heard others comment elsewhere, there may or may not be much finished material WORTH seeing the light of day... (but if we are to consider Michael's words... there's TONS of it... left for his posterity - ON PURPOSE)
judging from that album and it's questionable tracks, u wouldn't guess...
anyways, enough of my rambling... hopefully if the remaining members consider doing it again, they wont butcher the original takes with pitch shifting crap, and will keep the taste involved.
The Steve Lukather MJ track i mentioned was called "12 o' clock"... go look it up.
I've heard they might be saving the QUEEN + MJ tracks for a MICHAEL JACKSON "DUETS" album... since they hold right to use his name and visage at the moment.

is gre@t news reg new freddie vocals will appear very soon i hope on a new album in the very near future,my point is these tracks should of been on 1995 mih album,a album wich pre, queen trully screwed up,mih was supposed to be a queen album not a tribute album,it seems to me it was a tribute album poorly done, but anyway i hope theres at least 12 great freddie tracks maybe a demoe of orijinal tracks featured on 2nd cd i doubt it very much theres no hope with pre, queen theyv let us down for many years tearing fans apart many who are on the dole who struggle to save for queen stuff, anyway lets see scandal pops over?

Although I'd love to hear some more unreleased stuff I feel it wouldn't be the same without John's input.

Ditto that...wouldn't be "the same"... but altogether it'd be great to hear.
Brian's done some outstanding albums (yes SOME = 3...the 3 he's made) Rog is always a touch different.
BTW: everytime i keep coming back to this post, i'm surprised sooo soo many people seem to think MIH is a POS. (how's THAT for use of Acronyms!?!!)

I know that the Jacksons track VICTORY (or perhaps even a totally different song altogether than the Jacksons) was recorded with QUEEN.
Apparently it's approved as it is, otherwise the Estate would have NOT handed over the original demo multitracks for those three songs already!
Those two demos that were leaked came from a stereo cassette tape owned by Peter Freestone, who (along with Gary Taylor under his employ at the time) USED to play their tapes strictly for friends back in the day when Peter used to run his hotel. UNFORTUNATELY, some people turned out not to be so trustworthy and made copies for themselves, which is the leaked demos you lot got. Same thing was the case with the Hot Space demos.
One last thing, the original Victory demo was never originally recorded with Queen to begin with! It was just Freddie and Michael, like the other two demos. One fun bit Peter Freestone personally told me at Breakthru earlier this year: HE actually played "bass drum" on that particular demo using the bathroom door at MJ's residence! (Remember, MJ had a known history of recording scratch demos in his washroom, since assumingly the tiled floors and ceramics gave just the right amount of natural reverb)

Well... *PUBLISHED...
they will not be published until the Label decides to release it then.
Thanks for clearing that up. I'd heard the thing about the full band before. And the door thing... i'm not sure where i read it. Might have been a book. Hell, might have even been here.
Well.. It'd be great to hear the new material anyways. Unless it sounds like the MJ album.... touched up beyond belief.
