Now that we all know what we might get this year, let's now discuss what EXACTLY we might get.
It's been said there could be three live box sets: the first one regards the early years, the second one regards the mid years, and the third one regards the late years.
I would like to hear your opinions on each of the box sets.
What will they consist of?
I'll start.
1: Rainbow 1974, Tokyo 1975, Hammersmith Odeon 1975, Hyde Park 1976, Earls Court 1977 (both nights).
2: 1979-82 concerts, i.e. Paris 1979 (three nights), Tokyo 1979, Hammersmith Odeon 1979, Buenos Aires or Sao Paulo 1981, Montreal 1981, Milton Keynes 1982. We might also get some unseen stuff from 1978 and 1980.
3: Rio 1985 (both nights), Tokyo 1985, Live Aid 1985, Wembley 1986 (it would be silly to release it, though), Budapest 1986, Knebworth 1986 (bits). We might also get something from 1984 and more concerts from 1986.
Your thoughts, please?

Ah, I missed Houston 1977. That would be great.

Houston would be great but only if footage from Bob Harris' camera crew could be included. Soundcheck and alternate angles as well as all backstage footage. I have a feeling we've only seen a small amount of what he has.

I have a feeling the first box set will cover all of what was shown at Stormtroopers last year. So Rainbow first night, Hammersmith, Hyde Park, Earls Court first night and Houston. As well as a bonus DVD with Now I'm Here from Top of the Pops and Shepperton rehearsal footage from 1977.
For the second box: This era will cover 78-81. So I would hope to see maybe AT LEAST one complete Paris show. Maybe a complete Tokyo show too, and Hammersmith. I also think Buenos Aires and Sao Paulo would be great. They'll probably throw in the Montreal movie since it's not under the new label yet.
Third box: Milton Keynes since it's not under new lable. Maybe Tokyo 82. I could see maybe one Rio night in full. As well as Tokyo 85 and Live Aid (again not under new label). I don't think they'll include Wembley since both nights were released last year. So we'll probably see Budapest and whatever there is of Knebworth from the Magic tour.

what about an wembley 86 re-re-re-re-release

I think that there should be concerts done as Queen + where they perform with a guest or guests and then include whatever concert from the past. It would be such a great opportunity.

Er who said it could be three live box sets ?

Greg Brooks and Gary Taylor. But there is a chance that it might be one big one covering all the years.

Just dream, of course, but if i could get one recorded venue of every tour i love to have in a proper live release this: (video or audio, i prefer both, but in some cases video don't exist)
Rainbow 74 (both nights)
Tokyo 75 (best Queen gig... ever?)
Hyde Park 76 (first massive gig)
Earls Court 77 (both nights, very different gigs)
Wembley 78 (three nights)
Hammersmith 79 (best gig of the tour?)
Montreal 81 (musically one of the best gigs ever)
Milton Kaynes 82 (very strong gig)
Rock in Rio 85 (both nights)
Budapest 86 (legendary gig, and a good one)
