They promised much all this years... and we only have Wembley 86... But being positive if this time they want to relase something i think they could release:
Early Years: 74- 76 - Rainbow 74 November and March - Japan 75 (but i don´t think so since they release it -aparently ""complete""- on TATOOL japanese dvd) - Hammersmith 75 (maybe no in the box set buton advd for christsmas) - Hyde Park 76
Mid Years: 77-81 - Earls Court 77 (fisrt night or a mix of both) - Houston 77 - Paris (Three nights) - Hammstmith 79 - Buenos Aires 81
Late Years 82-86 - Montreal 81 (Two nights) - Japan 82 - Frankfurt 82? - Vienna 82 - Sydney 85 - Japan 85 - Rio 85 (Two nights) - Budapest - Cologne? - Mannheim - Manchester - Newcastle - Slane Castle - Knebworth Park

What would make a great live release ?
1974
Rainbow - all 3 shows were filmed (the first one probably not in its entirety), they have also some backstage footage which would be a great bonus
1975
Budokan - the latest release still misses the "intro"
Hammersmith Odeon - I ONLY want it because they promised it 4 years ago
1976
Hyde Park - great gig, also a lot of backstage footage
1977
Earls Court - 2 complete concerts, great shows, great audio, but crappy camera angles
Houston - this would be a perfect release. They have everything - 2 camera crews, backstage footage, interviews, Queen exploring the city, in the hotel ...
1978
nothing interesting, only the 2 German TV clips (Munich and Berlin)
1979
Brussels - the complete concert, interviews, building the stage ...
Rotterdam - just the first 2 songs, but soundcheck, interview ...
Munich - soundcheck, stage building, interviews, part of the concert
Madrid - the TV report includes interesting but short part of the concert and interviews
Paris - this could be great. All 3 shows were filmed and they're seriously great
Tokyo - would be great to have, even when (or because ?) Freddie's in terrible shape
Hammersmith odeon - my favourite concert of all times

"i think they could release"
Of course they could, but they are not going to... this is just another generic 'what might Queen have that we want' thread that has been happening for 20 odd years now. Its boring as hell.
Has anyone got anything new to talk about?

Trouble is, Brian seems to think that concerts can't be released unless they are in sparkling, modern treated audio, regardless I'd great acts like The Beatles, Zep, The Who, Genesis etc all releasing classic archive material in whatever format they have available to them rather than hoard it.
Trouble is, Brian is gonna find it a lot harder to fix that goof on the Save Me solo. I bet things like that are a major sticking point with these shows without a multitrack.

Why "South American dates"?? South America isn´t a country but part of a continent... i think the Sao pablo gig hasn´t a good video quality, even official it looks like a vhs... Argentina has a little more video/audio quality (maybe they have more footage since they wanted to do a movie in these days)
Sorry if I offended you, I'm not really an expert when it comes to the Game Tour. I don't know which dates in the CONTINENT OF SOUTH AMERICA (yes, I know it's not a country, I passed grade 7 Geography) were filmed. That is why I put "South American dates." I could have just as well put "North American dates" or "European dates" there, but I knew which ones were filmed.
Once again, I'm sorry if I offended you.

Anyone got any new Queen stuff to talk about?

The Moog can give it, but he sure can't take it.

I forgot to add Tokyo 1982. This show would complete a great box set.

Please, don´t worry you haven´t onffended me! i´d be a fool if it offended me
In South America they visited Argentina (5 gigs, 3 in buenos aires 1 in rosario and 1 in mar del plata) and Brazil (2 gigs on san pablo) but i don´t know if the gig in Venezuela is considered as a South Am. gig (even when that gig is from a different "leg" of the tour)
Now i have to say sorry if i offend you...

According to the QOL admin the DVD box sets won't be seen until 2013. This years releases are already planned. So I would assume we'll be getting reissues of Live Killers and Live Magic this year.

I thought the first night of the 86 Wembley shows was better than the second (even if it did rain). Freddie's voice was in much better shape. The Milton Keynes 82 show is already available in audio and video, so we don't need that again. Did any of the Slane 86 show survive? Some of it was recorded. I think they have to put out Live Magic again with all the cuts that ruined that album reinstated plus a fully restored and remastered version of Live Killers for starters.
