You don't even have a clue of what's going on here. Don't post a senseless post if you can't add anything useful. I'm fed up of you polluting my rarely appearing threads.

You've posted 1410 posts now, and all of them have been nothing short than trolling.

So I suggest you to go fuck yourself and get a life.
Good luck.

For three separate box sets, I'll think they'll do:

1. Rainbow (first or second, I don't know), Hammersmith '75, Hyde Park, Earl's Court (first night. After all, they do tend to give us things we already have) and Houston '77.

2. Paris '79 (one of the three nights, hopefully night three), Hammersmith '79, South American dates, Japan, Montreal '81 and Milton Keynes.

3. Rio (one night in full), Live Aid, Japan, Budapest, anything from Knebworth. Lots of bonus footage, e.g. Rehearsals, TOTP, alternate angles, Knebworth audio, Montreal audio from both nights.

For one big set, I think it'll be:

Rainbow (one night), Hammersmith (both 75 and 79), Hyde Park, Earl's Court OR Houston, Paris (one night), Montreal, Milton Keynes, Rio, Live Aid, & Budapest.
Any way the wind blows...

Not bad MadTheSwine. Though for the bonus I would probably take out the CDs, or maybe just add Hammersmith 75 on CD as a bonus. Maybe Knebworth audio. But Montreal could be a tad bit on the wish side.

They promised much all this years... and we only have Wembley 86...

But being positive if this time they want to relase something i think they could release:

Early Years: 74- 76

- Rainbow 74 November - Bonus: Rainbow 74 March
- Japan 75 (but i don´t think so since they release it -aparently ""complete""- on TATOOL japanese dvd)
- Hammersmith 75 (maybe no in the box set but on a dvd for christsmas)
- Hyde Park 76

Mid Years: 77-81

-Earls Court 77 (fisrt night or a mix of both)
-Houston 77
-I wish Munich 79 or Paris 79
-Hammstmith 79
-Buenos Aires 81

Late Years 82-86

-Viena 82
-Rio 85
-Budapest 86 - Knebworth 86

I know, it's the one thing I'd really want them to release more than any other live concert. Too bad they don't have the video.

South American dates[/QUOTE]

Why "South American dates"?? South America isn´t a country but part of a continent... i think the Sao pablo gig hasn´t a good video quality, even official it looks like a vhs... Argentina has a little more video/audio quality (maybe they have more footage since they wanted to do a movie in these days)

So you're saying that Queen filmed Buenos Aires hoping to make a concert movie like Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same or The Stones' Let's Spend the Night Together?

Aparently not only Buenos aires but all the tour (included japan, sao pablo, etc) my source is an Argentinean Magazine (revista Pelo) but Bob put this translate (made by Silken) on his web:

"During every show, the making of the film 'Queen on tourne' continued, for which eight cameras were used. The film will be completed with images from the San Pablo and Rio concerts, in Brazil. Of course, there will also be images from the American and Japanese tours."

Bob words about it:

"Not only is the possibility of more 1980/81 footage worth noting, but it also reveals that the huge concert scheduled to be played in Rio (on March 19) hadn't yet been canceled by the second week of March."

Brilliant and articulate. Why dont you try and think of another way to ask 'what live shows do you wish Queen would release' again.

The problem with Hammersmith '79 is that only a stereo mixdown exists of the audio. The mastertapes have gone missing. I do understand that QP has complete video (on film) in very satisfactory quality.

I don't see that as a problem as such. Yes, going cack to the multi tracks like Montreal would be great, but I'd rather have a stereo (or even mono) mix of Hammersmith 79 than nothing at all. Trouble is, Brian seems to think that concerts can't be released unless they are in sparkling, modern treated audio, regardless I'd great acts like The Beatles, Zep, The Who, Genesis etc all releasing classic archive material in whatever format they have available to them rather than hoard it.

I'd understand the reluctance to release archive material if they were an ongoing act recording and releasing new material, but all we've had is one album with a guest vocalist in 20 years, do that argument doesn't stand (especially when they keep releasing 'archive' hits packages over and over again).

Nothing involving Brian makes any sense.

Note his comment about Freddie being financially unrewarded from the Mr. Bad Guy album; that said a lot about Brian's motivation - I'd imagine it was the LAST thing on Freddie's mind.

Could someone please show me the link to where Greg Brooks and Gary Taylor mention live box sets?
