If all they've got Bob is the edited film (and I believe that to be the case), then that's all we will get.
Whilst it'd be nice to have a BD release of this, I can't say I'm impressed at what is effectively a re-issue as opposed to something new.
If they release something new this year BEFORE the Budapest release, then I'll be okay with that (hah! It'll be the Ukraine gig I expect rather than proper Queen), but so far this year just sucks of Queen going back to their old schedule of bugger all of interest.
QRM was also showed on cinema screens before (?) the Blu-Ray/DVD release. Did they played the full video or it was also an edited down version? For Budapest, maybe they holding back some of the footage for the Blu-Ray/DVD release.
Also, on this press release, there's no word about if it will be the same VHS edit with the cuts on TYMD or CLTCL... So hold your breaths until September.

A couple of months ago he wrote on this board the situation concerning Budapest...
And indeed, it looks like they do NOT have the 10 or 15 miles of film that gathered dust in a Hungarian archive for over 10 years after the concert...
Maybe now the footage will eventually show up, or were people so stupid to throw away all that precious film??
