Eagle Rock Entertainment announced this past week that on Mar. 12 the magical 1986 concert at Wembley by the rock group Queen will be re-released as a double-disc DVD SKU titled Queen: Live at Wembley Stadium – 25th Anniversary Edition.

There were two sold-out concerts (Friday, July 11th and Saturday, July 12th) … for the first time Eagle Rock has re-mastered both performances — a massive 26-song set on Friday, with two additional numbers on Saturday.

In addition to the concerts, there all sorts of bonus goodies, including secret footage of the group in rehearsal, newly prepared interviews with Roger Taylor and Brian May, plus a 2003 film featuring the same two original Queen band members.

North America never got the Wembley reissue while the rest of the world got it in 2011. Nice to finally have it on this pond!

The rest of the world have had to put up with it (looking shite) in NTSC, yet North America (whose TV system IS NTSC) didn't get it until now????

Wembley again, exactly what I was hoping for!
For the first time they're letting Eagle Rock get their hands on it... Horrible colour 'correction' is to be expected.

Wait a moment ... Do I understand it correctly, that this was NOT released in the USA in 2011 ???
In other words, they have converted it from PAL to NTSC - the American format - and they released it in the American format everywhere except America ?

Yes. For you technical buffs (I'm good at audio.. dunnob jack when it comes to aspect ratios/conversion)

Never RERELEASED OVER IN THE STATES WITH THE FIRST SHOW added
