Are you bipolar or something?

Has rocknrolllever initiated abuse in the past two months?

I reacted to the bipolar insult, because Inu knows I am bipolar, AND because it was directed rocknrolllever for no good reason.

I generally do not ignore bipolar insults on a public noticeboard.
His persistent form of trolling is certainly not far from the abusive category, given his verbal attacks on some individuals here. My comment (which was meant as a partially sarcastic joke, yet also partially serious question - something you clearly didn't pick up on considering the lack of tone associated with text-based posts) was most certainly not directed at you at all! Would you have reacted the same way if I was commenting on a very troubled celebrity (eg. Bynes)? There's a quote somewhere that I think goes a little like this: "You're so vain, you probably think this post is about you You're so vain, I'll bet you think this post is about you Don't you? Don't You? Don't You?"

PS. I'm still awaiting the apologies YourValentine highly recommended that I'm owed for those attacks on my condition, by the way.

Anyways, let's back on topic like good little boys and girls before this devolves any faster ;)

If you're going to defend someone, you might want to get his name right.

I'm sure rocknrolllover has initiated abuse in the past two months. Right here in this very thread, in fact. He called GT, a man who works for QPL and who knows what's up, a liar. Why didn't you jump on that?

Also, you tend to pick on Rich's condition as well. You call him names as well. In fact, you always seem to show up whenever he posts. Do you get email notifications when he does? It's a little strange, is all.

You're also a hypocrite – calling out someone's bullying while bullying him back. If you've got a bone to pick, do it in private instead of constantly clogging up interesting threads.

Indeed. And what was that I heard hurled my way, something about pot and kettle...? :-)

I apologize for the name calling and the insults and generally taking the low road.

I don't know if Earls Court audio would be so hard to work. At least the '39' track included on the ANATO Bonus EP sounds pretty nice..
The problem with the Earl's Court recordings is, as the 1st night audience recording we put out over a year ago proves, they were having major problems with faulty patch cables chiefly on the vocal mics. It's possible too they were also having a bad night with the various equipment on the audio chain ("exploding" amps anyone?) which may have also contributed to the various problems plaguing the EC SB masters.
You can even hear minor noises not typical of an absolutely clean recording on the "'39" recording on the ANATO bonus CD, and I will bet you guys anything even my studio engineer buddy (who incidentally did the remastering work on aforementioned aud. recording) will say that there's been restoration work done just to get it to sound good!
I've got plenty of live video releases by artists that are happy to release it 'warts and all', included any drop outs, mic feedback 'squeal' etc - they have just released a stereo audio track that was actually mixed on the fly as the gig happened, and done no remixing or overdubbing afterwards.

Yes, if multitracks exist then I'm happy for them to remix and present the audio as best they can (Montreal), although even then they mess it up sometimes (MK). However, if they can't remix for whatever reason, but have a perfectly servicable audio track, just give us this - we''ll love it!!

I'm almost waiting for Brian to recall all existing copies of the first three albums and wipe them from existence cos they were 'only' recored on 8 track rather than 12, 24, 48 etc....!!!!

I always prefer a proper stereo mix to a 6/8 channel mix anyway

"By the way Live At The Rainbow is in the pipeline" - is that the pipeline linked up to the black hole they made in the super collider at CERN?

"Earl's Court is not on the agenda" - I don't want it on an agenda I want it on my telly!

The Hyde Park show is good - but I don't think the setlist is great, they hadn't written that many songs at that point, but what you would you do about the bit where Freddie's vocal effects don't work - it looks awkward and Fred is obviously embarrassed.

"MK sound is dreadful" - it always sounds good to me - very raw and live sounding which might be ironic I know.

Freddie is dead 22 years in November. Hard to believe after all this time that we STILL don't have these great concerts remastered and on our shelves. What are they waiting for? We also still don't have Queen's Greatest Flix on Blu-Ray covering all the hits up until today (and yes, they need remastering too, the alleged remasters on the DVDs from 10 years ago were awful.)

Earl's Court has already been remixed. They have the multitracks and also allegedly the live soundboard mixes from the nights. So if there are any issues with the multitracks, it would be fairly simple to fly in the soundboard mixes.

Talk of the various alleged technical reasons for this stuff not being released is 100% bullshit. Anything of any vintage of course needs work doing to it - that's nothing new or exciting. No one is expecting QPL to start releasing gigs they only have a VHS tape of a TV broadcast of! They own mutlitracks and video masters for this shit!!

Fair point.

If Fred was still alive, all of those incredible 70s concerts would have been released, I'm sure. It's not just QP, it's also Brian and Roger. They seem to be focused on different matters these days. Badgers, female singers, tattoos. The band has become a joke.
