Has anyone else here seen this version of the 1986 Budapest show?

It claims to contain the complete footage of the show:
"
Complete video recording from Budapest 1986! On the official video the songs Another One Bites The Dust, Impromptu, Your So Square and Hello Mary Lou are not included and some songs are edited shorter. Also most of Freddie's speeches are edited out of the official video. Now we have the full version of every song. I think this recording comes from the Hungarian master tapes. It features 16 cams on one screen! The picture quality is not great, but still enjoyable. The sound quality is very enjoyable, but it sounds very dry. Freddie does some nice improvisation jam after Hello Mary Lou. The Hungarian volk song Tavasziszel is somehow featuring twice on this recording and there are a few long pauzes between some songs. Very interesting achievement of this legendary concert. Please note that the DVD has no chapters. It is one big track, so you can't skip through it. No copy errors. Not sourced from VCD/SVCD.

I've not seen this bootleg DVD myself.

I had read in other Forum posts here that the reason that the Hungarian Rhapsody DVD/BD was the same footage as the original Live in Budapest VHS/LD release was because the original 'rushes' of the film had been lost and what was included on Hungarian Rhapsody was all the footage that remained. The existence of this bootleg DVD would appear to prove this wrong. If so, it's a shame that the opportunity to make the Hungarian Rhapsody DVD/BD a complete release of the show was not taken.

Fair do's! I guess this version was made when the original editing was happening to decide on the camera shots for the final cut. It's a pity they cut more than we would have liked. Now none of the original film exists - shame!

Note that the full video will be re-released in a few years

I doubt that, they already spent a lot of time working on remastering it for Hungarian Rhapsody, they did what they could.
The entire concert will never be seen in it's full length.

It's no secret that the missing footage from the original film were not used because they no longer exist, so the missing songs and other parts of the show were not re-instated for the latest DVD release.

You can only say that it no longer exists if QP did everything they could to find out about it. According to Miklos ( the guy who tracked down the original edit film in Budapest), not everything was made to make shure that the rest of the film was found. So, you cannot say it no longer exists because you cannot be shure about that.

I´m pretty shure that the DVD is still great - having not seen it myself - but i´ll never understand why QP are OK with the release of a product when they clearly did not make everything they could to make shure it was COMPLETE.

Perhaps if Jim Beach was not in charge, maybe the story could be different. Not only for the Budapest release but for the last 10 years if incompetent decisions, and bad products.

So there migh be the possibility that the missing footage is still locked somewhere..

Not saying thats the case here, but QPL often get confused between "it doesn't exist", and "we don't have it in the archives".
