Breaking news coming !
there are reasons to be excited... details coming soon
After 6 YEARS of this thread being silent you're being a big tease...

How soon is "soon" I wonder? You must be the man in the know!
I hope it's about lost footage masters of Budapest 1986 show... not about Adam Lambert :)

Well if MIKLOS says you should be excited about something Budapest related, you bet you SHOULD be excited!

okay the short version for those who don't like reading: have the lost reels been found? short answer: nothing confirmed or denied, but the probability for good news is rising -
picture of the wooden warehouse!
Thanks for sharing this info :) I wonder if we'd ever get to see the outtakes even if QP received them but at least there's a good chance they exist.

I find it hard to believe that the footage was thrown away.

Somebody somewhere must have it.

Thanks Miklos for the additional valuable info! You are right, it gives us hope and the thought of one day seeing a fully restored 4K version of the complete Budapest '86 show is tantalising. Keep pushing them for more info and let us know what the news is please.

However, I suspect what will happen is that when QPL find out, they'll claim legal ownership of the film reels and request it for the archive where it will lay buried with the other treasures we have never seen. I hope I'm wrong.

I wonder why I have become so cynical over the years?
