Well it won't . I don't bother to read her quotes or follow her links and I doubt anyone else does either. If Adam had such an appealing voice he'd sell more records but he doesn't. Once his sheepish fans buy his music- and usually many extra copies to pad his stats- his music goes nowhere. He isn't even a notable pop artist. Just another American Idol heading for a tiny cult following.

He had his post-idle bump and now he's shrinking

They keep tailing about his great voice but while it may be technically proficient it obviously isn't appealing enough to sell records.

I have seen literally hundreds of his performances whether live or on Youtube and I've only seen TWO that were cringeworthy and this Somebody to Love is one of them. Wasn't this the first night. The poor kid was probably nervous as SHITE. Anyway, he corrected many of his mistakes on subsequent nights. He does a much better job here IMO. I don't think Adam gets nervous very often but no doubt he was on that first night. The only other time I saw him affected by such a case of nerves was his "debut" on the AMAs, his other cringeworthy (but oh so memorable performance.) This is the only time my Idol let me down. His voice was terrible! And he fell and did a Ninja roll. A complete trainwreck of a performance. Every time I see this I laugh at how they bleeped out the sound but the world got to see Adam shoving that guy's face in his crotch! Priceless.

I've been hesitating a lot as far as the Q+AL threads go. There's fun to be had in going after thick people, but not a lot of fun when it comes to out and out fanaticism. Actually, I find it to be one of the most depressing human traits.

It's truly miserable seeing these poor sods with whatever axe it is they have to grind, desperately trying to make the rest of the world love their favourite singer. It makes him look stupid by association. He might be a really chill, friendly individual, but the conduct of his fans smears him with an air of 'love me, love me, love me!'. I couldn't have greater contempt than I have for fanbases like Lambert's.

And I'm not even on the record as saying he's talentless or anything. He's all wrong for Queen, but what the hell - it sells tickets, right?
