Hi guys! I'm new on the forum so I apologize if I make any mistake. I haven't found this topic on the forum and I think that it's interesting.

All of us know that no one could replace Freddy, but let's imagine that you were able to choose the ideal singer for the actual group (BM, RT and support musicians). Not including Adam Lambert or Paul Rodgers, who do you think would be the best singer for the group?

I'm Spanish, so I'm sorry if I've made any language mistake!

Christina Aguilera probably comes the closest in terms of vocal range and performance.

What's the point? Brian and Roger have already chosen to tour in 28 locations in the U.S., Canada, South Korea and Japan this coming summer with Adam Lambert! You are kind of late to the party. If there is another tour in 2015 perhaps you can send your suggestions to Brian and Roger THEN!

Hypothetical question only and a reasonable one IMO.

I've said it before.

Lacking an all star vh1 honors ceremony with ppl like Steve Tyler, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Harry Connick Jr, Pink, Christina Aguilera, Dave and Taylor from foo fighters, Bruce Dickinson, Sarah Brightman etc it would really come down to two.

(Dismissing Jeff Scott Soto he has limited mass appeal as well as Mattel)

1. Pink (yes, that one. )
2. Chris Cornell

That's all I can think of without the voice detracting

Freddie Nelson, Billy Squier, Dave Grohl, Gary Cherone are all better choices than AFL.

Matthew Bellamy. I truly believe he would do them justice. The vocal range is definitely there.

I'll be interested in what you think about this after you've attended the concert at The Forum in July!

Wow how could I have forgotten Tom Chaplin ' s recent performance of IAHL a song "that had maybe never been played before" ;-)

Yeah Bellamy would be pretty good for all but the moodiest of songs

Sweet Caroline. ... I'm sure Adam will do a good job considering he's gotten better in "the role"

Still don't like his timbre much.

Sweet Caroline. ... As in Neil Diamond?

Great songwriter. ... horrible singer

Danny Vaughn. Incredible vocalist - has some edge to his voice when required, but also the smoothness. He also plays in a band with Jamie Moses (and also happens to be friends with Jeff Scott Soto) so could get connected that way.

Yes - Matt Bellamy would be a good fit I reckon, and if George Michael got himself together and wanted to stretch his pipes away from the lounge music he has centred on for the last few years, he would still be great I'm sure.
