Another one for Brenski to try and answer. Im intregued to read his answer by what he meant that english may not be my first language being from Yorkshire. Still waiting? I wonder if he borders racist or mocking an accent.! I hope we find out and doesn't try and avoid it.
Yorkshire people refer to Yorkshire as "God's own Country",,,,I was just assuming you had your own language too...and English wasn't it

as for
Stelios wrote:You know what. The question does fit by default.
Becouse noone exactly knows the answer to "How did Jim Hutton survive so long?"
So technically IT IS a poll.
wrong Stelios. the OP was not asking for opinion HE was asking for INFO... INFO is fact not opinion, so by consequence NOT a POLL...see below
barnsleybob wrote:Ive tried to look for this info with no luck. Both Jim and Freddie were HIV at the same time. Was it that Jim never got aids and just remained in HIV state, then with advances of treatment he was able to survive until cancer got him in the end in 2010?
think i dodge BOTH your bullets quite nicely :-)

perhaps now you can attack the others who challenged your OP? or is this juist barnsleybob singling ME out for a bit of cyberbullying?

Its great all these arguments. Love to see the usual aggressors getting stuck in.

The term 'bully' is used a lot in the forums recently.
What's the deal with that?
Yes brENsKi may be argumentative, but he's no bully. He's just blunt at worst!

Brenski.
Im english. How can english not be my first language and surely if it wasn't then it would reflect in my grammar wouldn't it? People from Yorkshire are english. God's own country would mean the beautiful english countryside.
Anyway im not going back and forth with you anymore. You have your view and I have mine. Lets leave it at that.

I wish I could have met Jim Hutton.

He seemed like a really nice guy. And I love the fact he didn't take any shit from Freddie (obviously one of the things Freddie loved about him as well).

Guess the joke bombed.

Well ^ by most accounts from fans and others he really did seem like a kind guy. I enjoyed his book even though I had to read it online.

However prodding and personal it was not really the salacious thing some made it out to be.

He definitely was with Freddie in the studio, a comforting, pleasant presence for Freddie

I spent a good part of my childhood on a farm in Oklahoma, and so feel that English also isn't my first language. :)

Jim really didn't contribute musically to Queen,

THANKS FOR CLARIFYING THAT!

but rather as a companion and beloved person to Freddie, really similar to Mary.
What is need is a subforum to discuss these important Queen related non music people. Would be great.

Yes he DID.
What would be ONE VISION without the FRIED CHICKEN line?
And as far as i know it was Jim's idea.
( I know that Freddie was already singing the menu to add lib lines to the melody)
