Exactly my thoughts, why not release double Blu-ray disc both shows separately.... Guess it will be like Wembley. In 2003 it was issued first on dvd and then in 2011 they released both nights. So we have to wait 8 years in order to see the other night :) :)

For the love of all that is holy, whoever is in charge of that channel needs to get their head checked! The person in charge ruins the video and audio of everything that he/she uploads! The person even managed to fuck up this one!!!

Two of the worst edits I noticed on the VHS VERSION
- In The Lap Of The Gods - when Roger is doing his middle "scream" or how should I call it, his drumming is different on the video and in the audio - can't explain it better. But definitely the video is coming from a different night than the audio. I was REALLY looking forward to see the fixed version :-(
- Son And Daughter - on the VHS version in the "intro speech" Freddie says something like "No, no, it's not Liar" and at the SAME TIME he's saying "This is Son And Daughter". The first line ends with a fade out, the second one plays over the first one. But NONE of the lines match Freddie's lips movement, so again, the video and the audio come from two different nights and the audio was edited really horribly. For those of you who own already the complete version - did they keep this problem or did they fix it?

Also there's a couple of seconds missing before the last verse of Now I'm Here, but the segment's missing from all the previous releases, so I didn't expect they fix it.

However something I LOVE on the new version is that on Now I'm Here the sound is much more LIVE, on the VHS version Freddie's vocals were almost completely replaced with the album version, so this is a HUGE improvement

I'm sick of his "remasters" too, he is actually using noise gate (!!!) to remove hiss and is overusing equalizer all the time. Not to mention shitty cropping/aspect ratio of video footage...

What the hell happened to the first verse of TFFMS? The falsetto there is so weird... is that even Freddie?

Too bad that the end of Father To Son, the "but the air you breathe
I live to give you..." part, is not as good as the other night! : P

I will like to see the video when Freddie sing that part! : (

Maybe one day in a re-release...

Now i'm hearing the March CD and i see that is almost the same vocals from november video in this part!
Is not the same that we hear on the bootlegs!

Or am i wrong?

Sure does sound odd - I guess there's a reason he didn't often bring the falsetto out in a live setting. I think they might've just boosted it too loud so it sounds much too present, and probably some pitch correction, but we won't get into that discussion again.

It's too hard to tell since the uploader constantly screws up anything he/she uploads.

While we're discussing "weird" vocals on this song... Who's singing besides Freddie? Only Brian and Roger, or does John join in? Once now and then there's a low pitched voice I just can't recognize. Maybe Roger singing lower than usual?

I've watched this 30 mins snippet 2 times and I must say, I am happy with this new edit.
I'm also reading all your comments and I must say, it looks like not all fragments they could fix.
Possibly part of tape were damage or lost thanks to Star Media.
despite on that this release, the first or not first worthy release since 1995 I think.
I've got the power to love to live I can't say it ain't right

Watched the entire thing, as well as the March clips. Sensational - the March videos are so crisp compared to what we've had before, and the degrading of the footage which can't be fixed has a nice character to it anyway. We have live videos, in exceptional quality, of Flick of the Wrist, Father to Son and Modern Times Rock and Roll now. Such a terrific release.

On a different note, watching through the November show reminded me how much better Brian's guitar solo was early on. It was succinct and impressive, and used recognisable lines from Brighton Rock. The early guitar solos are definitely the most enjoyable and well paced in my opinion, especially with the huge sounding segue back into Son and Daughter.

Just Brian and Roger, as far as I can tell, with Roger singing a harmony above Freddie's (the line which would probably considered the lead vocal on the record, where Freddie sings all the harmonies), and Brian singing one below, probably the vocal line you heard. Could you name a specific point where the low voice sounds unusual to you?

I'm 99% sure it's Roger. Listen carefully.

Roger is contributing a lot in this live version. It's amazing.

Also, is there a 5.1 mix on the DVD/Blu-Ray?

Interesting to see John singing on the "do do, da do do" vocal interlude bit on Father to Son; don't know if his mic is up but you can see him joining in on the video

I dunno - the full voice 'see' at the start of the phrase sounds very much like Freddie, and Roger's falsetto is much too abrasive sounding for that to be him.

He joins in on most of the Liar harmonies as well.
