See What A Fool I've Been is surprisingly not very good, and is about to become a train wreck around the three minute mark when Roger And Brian both go a bit too far with their virtuosities. Sounds like John finally saves the day.

I wanted to know how does the speech before Son And Daughter look like
- Son And Daughter - on the VHS version in the "intro speech" Freddie says something like "No, no, it's not Liar" and at the SAME TIME he's saying "This is Son And Daughter". The first line ends with a fade out, the second one plays over the first one. But NONE of the lines match Freddie's lips movement, so again, the video and the audio come from two different nights and the audio was edited really horribly. For those of you who own already the complete version - did they keep this problem or did they fix it?
He says...thank you, thank you dears, now then, we've come a point in time...ah they know it, it's a number released in the States,,,a number called Liar. All syncs with the video fine.

Thanks for the password. I've ordered the DVD but had to take a look .... and it's absolutely amazing! Father to Son and White Queen are incredibly powerful in different ways, but my favourite from that clip is Lap of the Gods. Not the best ever live version of that song, but there's something about the performance here which is very endearing. I really like the camera work too. We can be very thankful the Torpedo Twerps weren't involved in this release.

Son and daughter intro . "Thank you. Were you expecting that? That was new for us...right know...no, no, no., you seem to know the show better than we do. Liar doesn't come right now, it's something else from the first album, do you remember that one? This is a number called son and daughter..." Also syncs fine.

I've said it before but will again; how can they make the drums sound so gorgeous on this release yet have absolutely royally shafted them up on Live at the Bowl?!?
Live at the Bowl was their first shot at mixing a live show and I can only assume that they've learned as they've gone on? Would love to hear it re-done though as it really is bad
First shot? Do you realise Bowl was released after Live Killers, Live Magic, Live at Wembley 2 times, Rock In Rio ...
It was the first shot by Shirley-Smith and the current team. No Mack, David Richards, Freddie etc. Many people (including myself) were referring to JSS & KF as clowns at the time who didn't know what they were doing.

Well, if we go by the audio on the CD, it is fixed.

Thanks for the info, it sounds like they used a different night this time :-) Good that they fixed it, but it's a pity they didn't fix Lap Of The Gods. But I still can't wait for my copy to arrive :)

Which version do you consider the best?

I agree that this version has something special. Freddie's doing nice phrasing throughout and Roger's screams are spot on. I also love how John Deacon gets the spotlight in this footage, he just looks like he's having the time of his life.

My guess is that it's video tape source as well, like the November material.
No it is a bad transfer from the only piece of 16mm which is left.

Oh, sorry, I didn't understand you correctly. But still the 2003 Wembley was also "remastered" by JSS, wasn't it? I have to check the linear notes

Really wish I could buy the box set. Stupid Brazil, as always. I'd play 3x the value. :/
