I just cant believe there's only ONE unreleased track unearthed for the Forever album. After almost one year of regular interviews where Bri told there was at least 4 real unreleased tracks, without MJ tracks... from the begining 80's... I mean... Forever is not a bad one especially new mixes (Save me for example). but it's NOT a Queen album as they were told, it's a compilation. So the question remains : how fans will discover other tracks left? One compilation every two years ?? MIH 2 ??.....??

Orbit said that he already has been asked to work on "more !!unheard!! material" for Queen's next project. Also it is possible that Brian and Roger worked on more material but Universal decided that it's gonna be a compilation and not proper new Queen album.

I have this feeling there is more to come. I found it very strange that the photo of The Works master real appeared on face book supposedly showing Let me in your heart again but also showing Man on fire recently. All Queen fans noticed it. I don't believe that was an accident but more of a tease of what's to come. The questions remaining tho are what tracks, when and on what format? I'm hoping we may get one last new Queen album yet. Sail say sweet sister has been mentioned there looking at, Man on fire and Man made Paradise have appeared on Facebook in that photo, the 3 'new' tracks on Forever. Hey I'm an optimist. But it's also quite realistic.

Sail away also a great track, it would be great if freddie could be full on vocals.
Where has this been mentioned.
This is new to me...

Just to be annoying ... Fred already is on vocals. The line "Hot child don't you know you're young you got your whole life ahead of you" is sung by Fred :)

Anyway, as interesting as it would be to hear a Fred-only version, I love Brian's vocals on the song and don't think a Fred version would improve it.

I think the logic for the releases in the following years will be:

New songs/remixes/live album for Queen.

Something Q+ AL/PR related (live or in studio outtakes for PR and live/new songs for AL) and perhaps even a compilation of the different Q+ songs (Tom Chaplin, Robbie Williams, Elton John, etc)

My bet is that they will release both Queen and Queen+ records in the same year, in this way they can get both older and new fans happy.
Queen: Roger Taylor, Mike Grose, Freddie Mercury, Brian May.

Interesting thought, Freddie's appearance ads a whole new dimension to the song. Apart from Drowse I cant think of a non Freddie vocal that wouldn't be better with him singing.. Sail Away Sweet Sister would have been a single if Freddie sang it.. IMHO

Maybe something has to be saved for the movie release.
I think the timing of the release is good from a marketing point of view. They've come off a surprisingly fantastic successful USA tour and they then release a compilation including a duet with one of the biggest artists the USA and the world has ever produced. Being, and wanting to be known as one of the great bands isn't just about writing catchy tunes

Yes Save Me is a 2014 remaster... Very good! as well as Somebody to love or Lily... and several others. New mixes are very good.
For more unreleased tracks, I also thing they are from The Works area, and it fit with Bri's interviews.

Personally I always liked the Opera version of 39 better than the live versions with Freddie singing........and I liked Brian's version of TMLWKY better than the Freddie-vocal one!
I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye

I like the Radio Ga Ga version with vocals by John Deacon more than Freddie's version

Maybe Universal/Virgin Records and QP will look at the sales performance of the Queen Forever project and depending on how well it does, then decide whether or not to pursue the 'unreleased' tracks avenue.

I doubt there'll be much work done at the beginning of next year as there is the Queen+Adam Lambert European tour to get through first unless some work has already been done on other tracks and/or they hand over most of the work to people like Orbit.

I think it's great that they are finally (maybe?) looking at doing something with this stuff but I would prefer Brian and a Roger to work on the material rather then Orbit. Or if we have to have Orbit remixing stuff we also get the 'queen' versions as well like we did with LMIYHA - I don't care if there are remixes - I just want to hear the stuff before some 'edgy' producer puts daft arrangements all over it like with the MJ track. Why they couldn't put out their own preferred (!) version of TMBMTLTT is beyond me!

Nope. 39 and Long Away were perfect with Brian singing. Brian was a millionth of a singer that Freddie was, but he did vulnerability exceptionally well. Both songs needed the fragile quality Brian brought them, Freddie would;t have improved them. IMHO.
