Sir Lordship:

It is about the Jeckyll & Hyde personality of some collectors. QZ could be purring along for years with collectors generously sharing, but when something is "illicitly" shared, the claws come out, many collectors become vicious and vindictive toward the leaker, and punish everyone by refusing to share anything "new".

Some collectors go into control freak mode, throw their toys out of their pram, and punish everyone by refusing to share anything "new". A few collectors even seem to believe that they own QZ, try to overbearingly attempt to impose their "Sharia Law", and even issue demands and intimidation toward Richard and Barbara.

Blah blah blah.

You say so much with no actual content. Like your fellow partner in crime, your knowledge of what music collectors do is limited to your skewed interpretation of what you've witnessed on one music forum. You are definitely not the expert you think you are.

Don't you get tired of complaining? If you don't like something, then do something about it. But then you'd have to stop complaining, and we can't have that.

Rinse, lather and repeat.

Carry on..

Are you in need of a prescription adjustment or something Panch?? You've really overreached into your ass there with your "Sharia Law" comparison.

Tell me, when was the last time someone was literally beheaded for leaking a recording?

.....Yeah, NEVER.

Because you wouldn't just sit there on your soapbox complaining about something you know nothing about without an actual plan of doing something about it, would you?
[/QUOTE]

My "plan" is to stop you (ie. the traders) from completely dominating this message board with your warped sense of morality. I AM doing something about it, before it's too late.

You only see it as complaining on a soapbox because it's conflicting with your own interests.

The simple fact is that every time you trade (with a relatively unknown person), there's a risk of your material spreading to the wrong people. Instead of coping with your own choices, you are outsourcing your risk management to QZ.

You want somebody else to remove the material which YOU shared too many times, and try to disguise that as your "morality" and "generosity" of sharing.

It's like we're talking about constructing a building, and you're saying how we need to start blowing balloons before the paralyzed midgets show up with photos of retired baseball players.

It makes no sense, and there is no factual basis to what you're saying - only your imagination.

Your knowledge of this subject is limited to a few posts on a forum. You just don't have an understanding of how these things work. Stop pretending you do. You're wasting bandwidth and everyone's time. By now most people are just glazing over your inane posts because they make no sense. You, who have contributed nothing to this place other than complaining, are not someone that people here tend to look to for any kind of wisdom or reliable information on any subject - particularly this one, one that you have precisely zero experience in.

It's beyond me why you take such an interest in online discussions about a subject you are admittedly not interested in - you yourself have said you don't download music from this forum.

It just sounds like you're bitter about something that's out of your hands and have a need to inflate your sense of self worth by appearing to know what you're talking about, and that by yelling at others from the comfort of your computer you'll actually be "doing something about it."

Good luck with that.

Okay I can now place on here items I have collected, grabbed, traded, found or otherwise obtained and hoarded over the past ten years... I have hundreds of items all neatly sorted, but for now I will just put out the top ten of which I BELIEVE are the best in terms of quality and fullness. Not in any particular order here:

1. Keep Yourself Alive Early Ideas (demo, freddie riffing lyrics recording by Brian)
2. Stone Cold Crazy Origins ( Stone Cold Crazy Queen II version)
3. A Winter's Tale (as it was recorded by Freddie take final, first mix by Roger and John, with Brian's final Guitar overlay)
4. Under Pressure Evolution Medley (from jam to single, begins with 1990 radio intro before Bowie starts talking)
5. now im here (early alternate Johns guitar Version cut off backing vocals)
6. Stone Cold Crazy (3 different Alternate early Mixes)
7. People of the Earth (Freddie version The Prophets Song - unfinished incomplete demo)
8. You Never Had a Heart (a.k.a Death on Two Legs demo from sheer heart attack sessions)
9. 12 A Day At The Races Unused Session (outtakes and unused takes and cuts from various studios and sessions 25mins)
10. Tie your mother down (roger taylor version with Red Special)

plus many more that cover all the albums...........

Oh my god! That's the stuff I'm hoping to hear!

How much time I have to wait to hear them: 7 years? :/
