Just watched the video - excellent. Sweet Lady seems to be an acquired taste for most but I've always liked it especially last bit where Brian, John and Roger jam like crazy.

Brilliant performance of a great rocker. I've had that song stuck in my head on and off for like half a year by now.
I always loved how Roger's toms sounded in that concert, there so much tone in them.

Guys, was the full Hyde Park concert recorded in 16mm film?

It's much better than the old circulating copy.

I think it was shot on video tape and then transferred for 16mm, for cinematic purposes. Wasn't that what they did with Rainbow 1974 gig as well in the 70's? The Classic Albums DVD of ANATO has this same Sweet Lady performance as well, and it looks and sounds better than this 16mm transfer. They really should release the whole show if the quality is the same as it is in Sweet Lady.[/QUOTE]

In 2001, Jacky Smith, the head of the Queen fan club, said, "The quality is very very bad and they cannot "rescue" it as it was filmed on 16mm and not stored properly." While the segments from the aforementioned DVD are in excellent quality, this doesn't necessarily mean all the footage has survived. And this quote remains in question, as the footage is purported to have been shot on video and stored on 16mm film.
