i don't know, i've yet to do a full matrix, but i can still tell it sounds wrong.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. If you don't like it that's your business, but its not like there aren't other versions for you to choose from. Nobody's forcing you to listen to only what pittrek has very generously provided.

But we can't become a bunch of yesmen.

It is indeed OK to be accurately critical even if you don't have the tools to create a replacement yourself.

If that weren't the case, then nobody would be allowed to review films, books or albums on the basis that they aren't directors, authors or record producers.

I think it is the rough manner of criticizing the work that made some of us feel bad for Pittrek. Analysis of the work can be done in a more constructive manner. For example, I would ask why is it like this rather than condemn it straightaway.

Hi Pittrek, nice compilation! I love that gigs for Kampuchea.
Excelent indded... and not only the queen one but also the others bands, like The Clash were fabulous.
I have a question, did you use the transfer from the "people of kampuchea" lp that i have sent you a time ago via PM here?

i didn't intend to insult, i just don't mince words. this isn't meant to offend anyone, it's (it being me being a little too direct at times) a flaw of mine i occasionally tend to forget may not always be appropriate.

Pittrek, if this offended you, i'm sorry, i didn't mean to. I do respect most of your work on here. It's really good for the most part.

I have no problems with criticism, but it has to be constructive. Comments like "waste of bandwidth" will just piss me off, and will help nobody. It would help me if you could write down some sort of list of things which you consider to be errors. I remember 2 things - the piano intro to Mustapha and the first verse of Champions. I don't like Now I'm Here, but it sounds as it's supposed to sound - except the guitar middle which I'm also considering to re-do.

Merqry - no idea. I have several transfers of the LP, I used the first I found.

The Real Wizard - as a huge fan of both Mr. Plinkett and the Nostalgia Critic I agree with you

One of the best Queen gigs, and other bands were great too. Lately i´ve been listening to a lot of Beatles/McCartney so i´m really going to enjoy the Wings performance here. Thanks again!
