VERY similar sound quality to the Queen tape.

Paul is in the worst shape he was live in the 1970s (thin, hoarse), but still great compared to 1989/1990 or today. Apparently he was smoking like a chimney at the time.

This is Paul at his vocal best for sure.

he's even better in 1973, actually, but not by much. I'd still say that Wings Over America and Rockshow show Paul at his peak. I rewatched Rockshow on Blu-Ray last week (and it's not just Paul's vocals, i'd say the whole line-up was fantastic, also Joe English is fun to watch as he is clearly having the time of his life).

It is indeed a very good quality recording, like the Clash and Queen ones. If only all the concerts could/would be released officially...

The Detroit Paul shows I saw in 2012 and in 2015 were a lot better vocally than in 1989 in my opinion. Doing less shows has helped his voice a ton.
