Thank you NickESB for explaining it, didn't know the expression. Maybe they had a screening of the yet-to-be released 70's show.
Sincerely I admit that since the time when we've seen the bits from the first Brussels 84 gig in the LMIYHA video (Orbit mix) I've hoped that we will get fantastic performance-wise show from the Works Tour.

Unfortunately the Brussels '84 show wasn't properly filmed. It's mostly shots from the crowd, I think. Apparently its sound wasn't properly recorded either... Would have loved to have a great sounding copy of that show.
In terms of what they *could* release my hopes are up to one day have in the best possible quality:
*Hammersmith 1979 complete audio and video
*Earls Court 1977, second night, complete audio and video (or at least complete audio)
*Live Killers upgrade: best available footage from that tour combined with much more audio
*Hammersmith 1975 and Hyde Park '76 complete as possible
*Houston '77 with hopefully another show from that tour in just audio format + documentary by Bob Harris (maybe all in one package)
Any suprises would of course be very welcome :-)
Concerning the eighties:
--> a good documentary about the South American tour with also as much live stuff included as possible. (Hype it up, guys!).
-->Rock in Rio first night complete with best bits from the second night (that Rock in Rio blues is insane...)
-->Knebworth with documentary (QPL: hype up the last show, please)
if all the above is released - hopefully with some unexpected extra's thrown in (I'd definately like to see the "Calling all girls" video from 03/11/1982 for example) - Queen has the most impressive Live Catalogue in Rock. Just my opinion ;-)

Check the documentary 'A Magic Tour', or something like that, who came with the 2012 release of Budapest.
I think the showed footage isn't from any TV channel because it would have any logo or artifacts. It's more a straight from the source scan, if my mind isn't lying me. I know that it isn't a great angle, but it would be quite welcomed.

Which one you're talking about? The film footage from Radio Gaga?
Either way, if they had a proper source, they wouldn't have to use amateur video source for this compilation but they did.

^ That's true. I thought we were more talking about DVD releases :)

They have the complete multitrack audio from Knebworth. And DoRo filmed (on 16mm film if I recall correctly) at least the second half of the gig (ISTWWC to GSTQ) , bits of almost all songs (except Rock You) have been used in various documentaries during the years. They don't have the COMPLETE footage.
And don't forget the tons of backstage footage

I rather have something from the 70s. Besides, is 2015, so probably Hammy 75 will be picked for Xmas.
It'll be fantastic if the special edition have a different show from the ANATO tour in CD, like they did with Rainbow.

Probably not though :-) A complete show in just audio format from that 1975 ANATO tour would be the perfect bonus for the Christmas show. And we would get all the interesting songs not played at the Christmas show....
Hopefully we will see *some* surprises along the way...

Indeed, Greg Brooks himself has stated that "one day a great Knebworth product might surprise us all a lot".
ANY footage from that day - even backstage footage or interview footage or the stage being set up - is to me extremely cool :-)

I would prefer ANY live release to more Magic Tour stuff. Seriously, we've got Knebworth audio and quite a lot of video, and it doesn't add anything.
If it has to be from '75, I'd hope for something from Japan. If it could be anything, I'd be delighted with any release from the '77-'79 period, but Hammersmith '79 would be my favorite pick.

Hmmm. maybe Marquee 72' will get a release someday :) :).
I think we may safely assume that the remaster of the whole Earl's Court was ready at least in 2011 as it is doubtful that they've restored only some bits for the Days Of Our Lives documentary.
Any idea for worst case scenario of th 2015 release ? Another compilation maybe ??
