Someone is bound to say Muse, who aren't even a fifth rate tribute band IMHO.

Muse's new album is brilliant. Didn't care much for their older stuff though.

The Darkness have openly declared Queen as a massive influence.

Just goes to show how little you know about anything - seriously, you only come here to whine and to belittle. I'm no Muse-fan, but to dismiss their musical ability is to openly declare yourself a tone-deaf monkey. Want a banana, mooghead?

I don't like Muse, I'm allowed to not like them. And for that it just goes to show how little I know about anything? Are you on glue?

Even to the point their singer/guitarist Justin Hawkins has tattoos of the faces from the Hot Space album cover! ;)

Yeah, obviously The Darkness....the song Mighty Wings from their latest album has a definite Flash-esque sound to it, for one! And someone mentioned Extreme too...some of the songs on their third album, like Seven Sundays....

I'm not sure if anyone here would know what I am talking about, but there was a band called Belly that was around in the 90s....they had a song called Dusted, where I always thought part of the riff sounded a LOT like Football Fight....maybe that was just coincidental!

Is not what anybody would expect, but i say the japanese band Mono, they are an instrumental post-rock band with 15 min. songs, but somehow, they remind me the guitar orchestrations of the doctor. Listen:

Early Cars and early Journey with Steve Perry, because of Queen's success with producer Roy Thomas Baker.

Just listen Defector from the last Muse album. It has some vocal harmonies and guitar solos very Queen alike. Muse is a really great band.
