Nope, it's real all right. Straight from the box. Apparently the 2nd LP from MIH is the same, although not quite to the same extent.
it may explain why there was a week delay in the shipment to Canada? for whatever reason the US got it today... but Amazon.ca and HMV are getting it next Friday.

Good god! I don't think I've ever seen a record that poorly pressed before! How do you even get a record to look like that?
Maybe the technician was drunk that day? Or the factory suffered an attack by Godzilla. There are tons of plausible explanations...

ok - that is not from the box set... the game vinyl is supposed to be a light grey... not black... so that was a posting from the single disc versions.
Uh i may be colour blind but i'm pretty sure that's grey, not black
That swirling crinkly pattern is in mine too, but at least it's a pattern 'in' the vinyl.The rough edges on yours are just unacceptable though.
Also. Whoever designed the box didn't make it big enough. A couple of mine have got bloody ringmarks on the sleeves :(
