Still photo with all the credits rolling over it, with the track playing. Just like the BBC broadcasts?

Dropped to £134 in Amazon UK. Still way too expensive considering the content.
£80 direct from queenonline.com, so why would anyone in the UK pay a lot more to order it from amazon.co.uk?

Only one song from soundcheck on a vinyl. Wtf?
My thoughts exactly. I don't own a turntable, and nor do most people. Whereas I don't think I know anyone that can't play CD somehow, even if via a computer. Hell a USB stick is a more universally playable format than vinyl.
I think they've blown the "vinyl revival" out of all proportion in their minds, it's still tiny volumes.

Because of ignorance? :D I might get the box if I can get it as cheap as the the Rainbow '74 box (~55€) but that £80 is for me way too high considering the content. I bought the Thrak Box by King Crimson. That was around £85 and has a 12" booklet, posters, 12 CD's, two DVD's, two BR's filled with both studio and live material. That's a good price for all that stuff, the Odeon is just lacking in content in my opinion.

Isn't that £84.99 plus delivery?

Unfortunately ordering from Queenonline.com and having it shipped to the Netherlands means a staggering €30 P+P - which is more than 25% of the price of the product!

How come that this release is manufactured and marketed by Hollywood Records ?? I thought that it would be out under Island / Universal / Eagle Rock label.

They handle it in US? My 2011 remasters are from HR as those five albums per one cardboard pack were cheaper than the European version of the box with all the albums in it.

Looks like the A Night At The Odeon CD has been leaked. PM me if you wanna know where to download it (just to hide it from the cat).
"When the cat's away, the mice will play", a good saying by The Real Wizard.

Yup, gave it a listen. Sound's good overall and Brian's guitar doesn't seem to be as out of tune as it was on Rainbow '74. I don't like what they're doing with Roger's drum sound though. His snare and toms sound like they were triggered, which isn't a good thing considering it's a gig from 1970's. Unfortunately they did the same thing with Rainbow '74. I much prefer the natural sound of the drums.

The drum sound (and bass to a certain extent) seems very muffled compared to the guitars and vocals. Seven Seas of Rhye has been autotuned to death as I expected - Freddie evolves into a robot during the song. I gave it for a friend to listen and she promptly said "that mix sounds like shit".
I like how the guitar and piano sounds, though. The medley was a good listen (especially Freddie's piano runs throughtout March of the Black Queen). Brighton Rock sounds empty with the muffled drums. The solo in White Queen, with the enhanced guitar and piano, is great.

Something strange happens just before the chorus in Brighton Rock, it sounds like a very short and mild pause/cut. It's strange that they've taken the power from Roger's drum sound. Why didn't they left them sounding as "punchy" as on the Rainbow release or even the recent BBC broadcast of Hammy.
Seven Seas Of Rhye is very autotuned... it sounds as Freddie recharged his vocal batteries and maybe they made it with premeditation... cause performance wise it beats Rainbow (March show)....
Overall it's a good live release but so few extras, why not give another full show from the same year and pack it as a deluxe 2 CD edition ?

Yeah, the mix isn't all that great, but it was still a fab listen. Freddie sounds a bit sick but the rest of the guys are really on fire. Had forgotten just how good this gig was.
