Freddie did some of that higher phrasing on SSOR from Rainbow '74 as well. Is it know if they were genuine notes from that performance?[/QUOTE]
I'd like to think so. Freddies tone, timbre and the characteristics of the microphone during the high notes match the rest of the performance. The may still have been pitch corrected of course, but Freddie was in much better shape vocally on those gigs as he didn't have the flu or vocal nodules.
Oh, and excuse my horrible grammar in that post, by the way.

I wonder when he abandoned those higher notes during SSOR. Going by the official live releases from the last two tours, he did lower notes. To be honest I don't think Freddie sounds that bad on the original Hammersmith 1975.

Other than the "bring before me.." crack (which I listened to again recently and I think the current release used an overdub from Rainbow '74) and the last "forever" he indeed doesn't sound that bad.

I don't think I've seen it below 100€ anywhere. 50€ would be about right price for that content.

100€ seems fine since I haven't found anywhere near that price. Where did you see that?

The cheapest I found as of now was Amazon France, 109,99€ not including shipping. The second cheapest was http://www.wowhd.de, 118,54€ including shipping. Hope that helps.

I managed to give it a listen. Sounds great, but it's true that the drum sound is weird.

Think i'll give it a miss, it's a very average show and Freddie's vocals are quite shite for that show, and the price and content for the box set is hilarious they should of called it "Box of Bric-a-Brac" I always compare any Queen box set content & price to the Freddie solo box set which i thought was amazing compared to any Queen box set. As far as the price £49.99 is a fair price, i have lost count at how many older fans online with families have all said they cant afford any Queen box set. I hope Brian reads these posts about the overpriced box of junk.

Placed my order with amazon for the bluray/CD. Up until last night it was telling me that delivery would be today, the 20th. Gets up this morning to see that's been amended to the 28th! Has anyone else had this? Needless to say I cancelled the order.

Got My DVD via Amazon yesterday... Overall I'm not as excited as I was about Rainbow, but I like it, just seen it too many times already, John was maybe slight too low in the mix in places.
Now Please please can we have some later NOTW /Jazz era stuff..................?
