For me, this concert is a well known for us, maybe can be new because of the new restoring, but nothing new. The documentary is fine gold, with so nice snippets from the Japan tour and from Hyde Park free gig, that reminds me that for sure will be the 2016 release, because the images are in a very good quality, almost as same as Rainbow or Hammersmith. Budokan clips are the same as the "Days Of Our Lives" Japanese extra, so raw, so mytical, so Queen!!

I just watched the DVD. It was great BUT... it's a shame they didn't feature full Bob Harris introduction and the video after Jailhouse Rock Medley immediately freeze and that's all... But there's about 10 seconds of video available after that moment which they cut out or didn't bother to edit in from a different source for proper ending...
But they bother to edit in useless frames here and there throughout the concert.
As always no 100% perfect product from QPL, even if it's easy to achieve.

^ I just created a version of Now I'm Here with the Harris intro from the Odeon documentary. Just replace track 1 of your rip with this copy and you're good to go !

Actually they didn't feature 'complete' Harris' introduction.
Also all soundtrack from the documentary is in MONO...even the musical part... so this merge doesn't work. MONO track needs to be echo/delay processed before the merge.

Ha, it's funny - I did the fix without headphones, so you can hear exactly where I made the cut.
Take it or leave it. It's more complete, so it's there if anyone wants it.

Yesterday I took a look at the comments on Queenonline for this release. It seems the moderator removed a lot of the negative comments for the dreadful artwort and content. Way to go ... QP.
So did any Canadians notice the release date for the box set and vinyl set at dec18 now? I even pre ordered it couple months ago on Amazon.ca WTF! cd/blu ray are available.

I don't think Queen released anything on the due date in the past few years in Canada... I remember in 2004, the "Live at the Bowl" DVD release date got pushed back twice...
Speaking of releases in Canada/USA, anyone noticed that the CD+DVD/CD+BR combos of "Odeon" aren't released in North America? You have to buy the CD and DVD or BR separately...
maybe cd/blu rays are made in the north america and the vinyl and bigger box sets are made in Europe. My Studio Vinyl box set was made in Europe with no Hollywood records label on it,, it had a Virgin label on it.
I wonder how many years they have known they will release Hammersmith in 2015. Brian says in the documentary something about it being 40 years since the concert. His hair is dark so this interview was made years ago.

end 2011, early 2012 I suppose.
2009 for sure.

I don't know much technical terminology but I listed to A Night at the Odeon on a free streaming service today and immediately determined not to buy it. It does not sound right to my ears. Queen's live sound at that time was always a bit thin...
Or it could be listening to it on a compressed free streaming service

Anyone know when this was shot? It is in HD but as you point out there's Brian's hair color. It's copyright 2015 too
Roger is also lacking the heavy beard he sports these days, so it must have been filmed at least few years back. I can't remember exactly when Brian went grey.
