I think reading this thread is one of the best things ever :-)

Well I PM'd the raw version QTV flac link to somebody who asked for it a few days ago, but got no reply so don't know what happened.
They said they was going to have a stab at improving it, so you might see that version shared by them at some point.
See this thread if you want that complete raw version.

Thank you. You were right when you've spotted the potential of this tape. It's enjoyable event without improvements.

Wow, what a guy doesn't find after a week away from the internet.

The Free In The Park is extremely slow, but it's definitely one of the better copies existing.

Possibly most people already know but, just for the record as it hasn’t been mentioned previously in this thread, Sikke also shared Bohemian Rhapsody/Killer Queen from his Hyde Park source a couple of months ago on his YouTube channel. Maybe it fell under the radar because those two songs don’t contain any significant damage on the currently circulating versions? I certainly hope he shares some more clips during this 40th anniversary year especially if there is no official release in the pipeline!

How about sharing as it is, in the best quality possible (at least 24/96 considering the year is 2016), and let the others to work on it as they please.
You may avoid absurd questions, like "what is the part that needs to be repaired?"
You Aristide1 may avoid this webboard....

I don;t want to ruin this website with another inferior HP audio upload.
Sorry, my mistake for taking your question literally. Should have been familiar by now with the small talk ritual preceding shares from personal vault.
I guess it would be shocking to suddenly see a link if you are not psychologically trained first: some conversation on deinterlacing algorithms, some pictures of the tape on the kitchen table.
Yes here you go...... The original scoth tape on a table....
I hope the pro studio where you make the transfers can pull something of it.
Like the hi-res audio made from a regular audio saved in a hi-res format.
We tried it in the studio the result equals : Scotch tape = Sticky tape.... so no results yet...;-)

I think you're going to get a Hyde Park stereo soundboard off that tape if you keep trying!!!

I updated that previous link with speed adjusted version due to the tape is running slow.
How do you work out the speed adjustment?

Try making it the same length as the QTV version and see if that works

Cheers Sikke for sharing parts of your Hyde Park source. It's been my holy grail to get hold of a decent copy of this for about 30 years so fair play to you for managing to do just that. It looks great, and sounds very decent too.

I'm a musician with perfect pitch, so I can hear when something is even slightly sharp or flat.
