dudley-fuckfin I think this won't work - they are already aware of what fans want. But Queen Productions don't do what fans want, they do what they think will make the most financial sense. Also Greg Brooks knows all too well.

I hope Brian and Roger Queenify any unreleased Queen songs before releasing them as I don't like the production on things I've never hear before.

Keep dreaming everyone, maybe in another 20 years we might get one more track like LMIYHA.
Queen+, monopoly game, etc, are more important, more money, F_ _ K what the fans want

to be honest i fucking hate the adam lambert stuff, they look like old men just holding onto something that should have been let go of years ago. john deacon did the best thing, hes the only one with dignity now. and why is brian recording with kerry ellis all the time? im sure he has the hots for her. its just crap acoustic covers that no one wants to hear. If they did a pink floyd style anthology releasing everything unheard instead of 6 different wembley dvds, they would regain some sort of respect, but its all about money now, record companies have contracted them to make a certain amount of releases a year, so if theres no new queen material, cos the singer is dead, they will just re hash previously released stuff or tour with lambert.

Then don't buy the tickets or (potential upcoming) recordings, simple as that. I don't hate that collaboration, but am also not interested in it, so I choose that option, it's much better for everybody.

Why should they? If they want to do it and are still good at it and people are still willing to pay good money to see them, why should they retire?

Depends on how you define 'dignity,' because that's such a subjective concept. He still earns money for whatever Maylor do, so his hands are as 'clean' or 'dirty' as theirs.

Because he wants to. It's not like he needs anybody's permission.
dudley-fufkin 7834 wrote:

Even if that were the case, that'd only concern him and her and their respective spouses, not us.
dudley-fufkin 7834 wrote:

Some of them are not crap, some of them are not acoustic, some of them are not covers and there are certainly people who do want to hear those. I don't, but there are plenty who do, enough to make it a profitable project.

Yeah, because in the past it was never about money. They had always dreamt of being poor. They never ever wanted to be celebrities.

^^^^ you beat me to the post Seb. Great reply! ??

I agree with "dudley-fufkin 7834". Also great points from Seb and I understand it's their choice but sometimes dignity and pride is more important than money. I think what they are doing now is ridiculous with AL. They are coming to my city and my choice is not to go even though i've been a fan for over 35 years, I don't want to see this crap. For me its ruining the image of Queen in my mind, this is my choice and I dont want to tell other people what to do, if they like it good for them.

If they decided to retire just because some people (e.g. myself) wouldn't pay to see them with a reality programme loser or because some people would resent the idea, how much dignity would that entail?
As for pride ... if by the time I'm in my late sixties I rock the shit out of packed venues and still do what I love for a living, I'll certainly be proud.

You're right Sebastian.
I'm definitely one of those who can't stand AL and the whole Queen+ thing, I think i'm pissed because of the releases in the last 20 years plus........

Possibly your last chance to see Brian May live, and you're missing out on it due to a moral crusade?
Are you sure you're a Queen fan, and not just a Freddie fan?
Let's not forget that even five years from now seeing Brian and Roger probably won't even be an option. Something tells me there will be a lot of people silently regretting that they didn't get to see half of their favourite band live one last time.

I think that there will be only one more Europe/UK tour after this one. If they are up to it.

They can do what they want, of course, but it's misleading to say they're "rocking the shit" out of anything. It's all very dull and pedestrian. For example, the New Years Eve show they did 2014-15 was very boring and lacking in energy.

the adam lambert stuff is bullshit, totally flogging a dead horse, they even need 2 drummers now cos roger is too old to drum. call it a day lads, stop holding on to the past, release the archives and retire!
