Love the video - so much more professional than the videos for Fun on Earth.

Exactly, although I think the video for "Sunny Day" was more a quickly assembled goodwill gesture towards the fans in order to deliver some visuals for the song. I did apreciate that, at the time.

Regarding Journey´s End:

now, this is a video. Thanks for the effort, uncle Rog. Loved it, but I found the part with the guitars and the concert audience was a little odd and didn´t follow the style/theme of the rest of the film.

And.... I like the song. Very much. It is a strange piece, yes, not catchy at all, but sounds different, sounds modern. It is simply what Roger had inside, musically speaking, and at least he delivers.

This is exactly what I´ve laways wanted Roger and Brian to do: create and deliver new music, their music. And at least Roger takes the risk and doesn´t play safe. Now I was about to criticize Golden Days .... but I pass. This is Journey´s End thread.

Bravo Roger, well done !

^ Agreed wholeheartedly. It's new music, it's artistic, it's a bit risky - as the press release states an obvious nod to Bowie.

Brian has certainly more than earned the right to do what he pleases, but as he plays it safe, it isn't nearly as exciting.

Not everyone is going to like this, but I think even those who don't will see the merit in it.

Well done - I hope we get to see more diversions from the "mothership" as it were....

Rather liked it, definately channeling his Bowie, and good to see he still gets his Mrs in the Vids...ha, liked looking at the guitars actually, and maybe the journey was his, so that's why they are there

For what it's worth, I think this is the most creative thing to come from the "Queen" camp for a very long time...

Agree. Bowie came to mind during the first listen. And that´s somehow what I meant when saying that the sound is modern.

Re. the guitars. Yeah, I liked looking at the guitars too ! it´s a very cool visual. But then came the concert audience and I immediately thought "hey, where were we? where are we now?".

It´s just a small detail I wanted to pint out. I love the video and the song. Done tastefully and quite creative.

Boring boring song. Forgettable and predictably again composed in a minor key ...

Not great, but better than Brian's recent stuff. At least you can tell there's some actual effort put in there.

Very nice song! Maybe this is the first thing from the upcoming new album? What you think?
