I like it! A hell of a lot better than the crap on Golden Days.

Rog plays piano and upright bass on it. Interesting.
John hated Hot Space. Frederick's favourite singer was not Paul Rodgers. Roger didn't compose 'Innuendo.' 'Bohemian Rhapsody' hasn't got 180 vocal overdubs.

Love it. I doubt it'll lead to a full solo album, but this is beautiful.

Beautiful. Especially in combination with the video.
Well done Roger!

Unexpected, out of the blue, and very nice. Thanks

Very different, very Dark Star Bowie. Not too sure on all the walking about though and thought the dancing in the middle went on far too long.

Song itself, hmmmmm, its ok, just wish Rog wouldn't try to keep rhyming ever last word in every line together, wouldve preferred it to be more poetry to music than the last word of every line needing to rhyme to the last word of previous line. He seems to have done that since Happiness.

Nice change though, better than anything on another album I'd better not mention with a really terrible cover. No originality at all.

For a 67 year old rocker, Rog is doing fine. I agree with many that it is refreshing to see new material and some very creative video ideas. The contemplative lyrics hark back to Drowse, TATDOOL. Bravo

I like this new "idea" from Roger. It's original and totally his style. I think the photography reaches a very high quality, plus music and video are perfectly combined. His look is pure class. An old rocker, indeed.
He couldn't care less of attempting to create a hit, nowadays music industry would not give him any airplay, so it's good to focus on his own musical ideas, far from a standard verse+chorus+verse+chorus+solo+chorus scheme people expect. "Everything is broken" was for certain reasons similar to this new experiment: music and personal thoughts flowing together.
Anything too stupid to be said... is sung.

I have become wary of Queen members suddenly releasing songs with retrospective lyrics. I get the comparison with Bowie's Black Star, but I also remember what happened three days later. This does not bode well.

Agree with this!

Nice video and interesting song.

I hope the song is not very personal because it sounds quite sad.

Excellent track and very atmospheric video... It'll be very nice to receive an album from Roger with such sound/arrangement.

It is great that Roger is still creating and recording new stuff. Very nice use of electronics, in the vein of some recent indie or alternative artists, but with his unique touch.

It is a shame that, apparently, Brian and Roger do not plan to record together anytime soon. By the way, I saw a recent Adam Lambert interview somewhere on Facebook, where he mentions that the three of them only discuss recording in interviews, which I find sad.

Cheers,

Queen played the Isle Of Wight festival last year. Brian was still alive on September 19th. Your point is pointless!
