If true, it would be new music. Paraphrasing one of Roger's recent interviews, he said that they could record new material if they could come up with good enough tune(s). As far as I remember, he said "we could", most probably referring to himself and Brian.

Looking forward to hearing it, any chance to hear Brian and Roger playing and writing is a wonderful thing as far as I'm concerned, very happy about Adam singing on it, he's jelled well with them and 'gets it'
He has a powerful full range and does the Queen tracks perfect justice

Long over due IMO

"Can't wait" for more of this genius lyricism:

"Surf is up
School is out
I got a criminal urge to
Twist and shout"

"We rock down the road and down to the town
And all the people stare and smile and get down
Then the police man is saying "stop this noise"
But the beat takes over now he is one of the boys
The beat's taken over now he is one of the boys"

It could be worse, Dudeofqueen. They could come up with "meow, Delilah, meow, meow", following the good old Queen tradition. :)

As much as I'm a fan of both Queen and solo projects, I really disliked The Cosmos Rocks and anything featuring a different singer will turn me off big time as well. It's the reason why I've refused to go to any gig from their latest tours.

It's almost painful to say this, but I'd rather have Delilah style songs or a Hot Space tier album over a different singer.

dudeofqueen was commenting on "Surf is up , School is out , I got a criminal urge to, Twist and shout" ...can't any one write a rock song about having fun anymore? Why does everything have to be serious or deep?? Let's face it, it is their choice who with and when they record. As Roger once said."I hope that you like it, if not sod you". Like it buy it, if you don't (quoting Freddie now) Fucking go home. It's a free world.

If they´re doing it, welcome then!
that means new music written by Brian and Roger, which is the one thing I wish they´d never stop doing. If it turns out being a mediocre, acceptable or brilliant effort, well we´ll see, but I always welcome and listen to with interest any new piece of music they create.

If it is a new album, let's wait until we've heard something before we pass judgment.

They've hinted at it being something they've spoken about if not a definite idea for a while. If they are recording they certainly haven't rushed into it.

Just horrible.............Please don't, please I hope this is just false rumors................
Just record solo albums or BM/RT collab, this is not Queen

I'm not *very* interested personally, but it'd be good if they were to get into making NEW music again, instead of just replaying old material. I mean, the Brian and Roger of today can't play with the energy and intensity of 40-years-ago Brian and Roger, so by definition the renditions of old songs suffer from that. But, their skills in composition are far more developed and matured than they were at that time. I'm willing to keep an open mind, just so long as this won't turn into an Adam Lambert-album featuring some contributions from Brian and Roger on otherwise AL-songs.

They did that before. "The Cosmos Rocks" was a whole album of new material that Brian decided he couldn't bear to play live........ It frustrated Paul who decided he was flogging a dead horse and opted out and good on him for doing so.

Glambert doesn't have the minerals to do that and, as a result, will pretty much do what he's told. The whole concept of an album featuring him just brings that nasty sick taste........

Wait until we've heard it before judging? Good luck spending heard-earned on it.......

Please God no.

I'm kind of interested in this. None of that already dated digital reverb. With his vocals and the set list choices we've had it might even be a glam classic.

Long shot I know.

That 2fux song had something about it that that I kinda liked.

Well, new material is always nice to hear... But it won't be Queen, during the golden days, each of the musicians brought something to the table even if it wasn't a complete song but an idea for something that someone else is creating. Brian and Roger have excellent composing skills but whatever they release under the "Queen+" name will always be compared to original Queen album.

I wish them well but The Cosmos Rocks (whole album) for me was worse than LMIYHA. It had only one really catchy song "Say It's not true" but that's it.
