okay, now that we know this I remembered there was news about Queen discarding the Queen+ thing. So they wanted Adam to be a full member of Queen?? Does this new album make any sense to that?

Looking at the sell out shows the responses to the American tour and the crowd reactions at the shows it looks like the anti lobby are pretty much in the minority. Although a noisey bunch ha ha.
Its not Queen without Freddie blah blah, its not AC/DC without Bon Scott, its not Pink Floyd with out Roger Waters, its not The Damned without Rat Scabies or its not Led Zeppelin without Bonzo fans have been having these arguments for decades. The fact is if QUEEN release an album of new songs with Adam singing it will probably do a lot better than (the grossly underrated) Cosmos Rocks and be a big seller for the band.
I am with the majority and say Bring It On..............and if your in the minority just ignore it there is no need to get annoyed about it :-)

Adam Lambert rules. He was the reason I watched American Idol. He made it interesting and entertaining with his virtuous persona. I myself thought he'd be perfect for Queen. I wrote a letter to QP telling them so. Apparently other people around the world were thinking the same thing. When Brian and Roger are retired, I hope Adam carries on as Queen + (Queen).

Cosmos Rocks had three very defined writers on it, and both Brian and Roger had to work with Paul to make something he could fit into, I don't see that with Adam, he will have less of an input to the writing and he can fulfill the role of a true Queen frontman.
I think it could be interesting, but Brian and Rogers style when combined tends to be less creative then when they work apart in my view,
As for the same old shit of 'it's not Queen' of course it bloody is, those two founded the band, and as with hundreds of other bands still use the same name, frankly you could say it's not Queen after RTB left... he had as much of a role creating the classic Queen sound as anyone.
And frankly classic Queen created some pretty crappy tracks, Coming Soon, Body Language, etc etc
Lets wait and see how it sounds...

I think they need to find a producer and engineer who will push them and question their decisions, not surround themselves with yes men.
