Caroline: You know why May & Taylor are smiling because they cannot believe how stupid fans are to let them get away with the ridiculous combo of rock legends and novice. To be honest it is obscene but today in the world of music many artists have no talent and are very popular based on there looks.

Ha! Ha! Brian and Roger (and Adam) are laughing all the way to the bank! BTW Adam is not a novice! He just turned 36 and has been singing and entertaining in live stage shows since age 10, including 4 worldwide solo tours and 3 worldwide QAL tours! He knows his way around a lot better than some of those million dollar album selling artists.

I would say I'm an AC/DC and GnR fan. I know of was surprised when Axl sang the AC/DC songs. I find it strange honestly. But I'm not outraged.

Mr Lambert would have been more suited to singing with the scissor sisters or Bronski Beat but Queen no, that is truly odd.
Yes i know what you gonna say, sold out world tours blah blah, but many of Lambert fan base are girls and the rest attend to see Brian & Roger. Still Mr May has gave the hint that the next tour maybe the last as he called it "Round the block one more time" fingers crossed and hope Lambert leaves Queen and gets on with his own career.

Yes, Adam needs his own career and he has more talent in his little finger than some have in their whole bodies so I think he will be just fine!

Face it, many other artists are more popular, sell more than AL, without those artists riding on Brian's and Roger's coattails. That's a fact. AL would not be where he is currently without singing the Queen songs.
I really hope this isn't the end of live shows for Brian and Roger, even if they may choose to stop touring, I hope there will be more live stuff. Brian is very invested in Kerry.
Again, once Q+AL is over...that's the test for Adam. His music, his shows, whatever he does will be on him and his PTB.
Yes your right its crunch time for Lambert when Queen decide enough is enough and time is getting nearer. Still Lambert has made enough money out of Freddie to have a comfortable lifestyle now, but without Brian & Roger his popularity would have easily fallen.
Kerry Ellis is again in the same bracket as Lambert, with her west end musical voice and she also had a boost because of Brian admiring her from a distance,

Lambert made money out of Freddie!

Freddie was the one everyone thought of when you mention the name Queen, people think "Freddie Mercury"

Adam didn’t make money from Freddie and Queen by osmosis. He does his part to earn it and even though he makes it look easy, he wouldn’t be doing it if he didn’t more than qualify.
Lambert should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Freddie because it is like comparing the cheapest margarine with the very best butter! lol
happystar, you are entitled to your strong opinion but the thousands of cheering people in the audience, including diehard Freddie fans, would disagree!
I’m not as radical a Freddie fan as some here but I certainly recognize him as the best rock singer/composer/entertainer of all time. But he is not here and Adam IS here and doing a heckuva job fronting the band. IMO the guy who doesn’t get enough credit is Spike! Without HIM there would definitely be no show!

Hey, if you makes you feel better by saying Freddie is no longer here, go ahead. I think we all know Freddie is no longer here. His legacy is living on for the past 25 + years, and it was before all the Q + stuff.
That's a heck of a legacy for Freddie and Queen.
The bottom line is Brian and Roger have wanted to tour with Adam no matter what you think and THEY are satisfied that their audiences are accepting Adam and having a good time! They would have stopped a long time ago otherwise. It has been SIX YEARS so it’s past time for the naysayers who have never attended one of these magnificent shows to stop pretending that they know best. They don’t!
