Would you folks consider Adam Lambert a "rock star"?

AL is the Definition of being "manufactured" and "fake". He is a pretender (and not a great one - pun intended!). He is acting as if he is a Rockstar and he fials miserably. His voice is awful, he is singing the Queen catalogue like Celine Dion and Mariah Carey on dope. He seems to mock the Songs almost - like a bad parody. He Comes across as an arrogant twat. What are the costumes sitting on Franks head have to do with Queen? Or riding a 3wheel bycycle like a retarded Clown. His speech about him not wanting to replace Freddie is scripted and insincere. He is ripping off Freddie in every way he can. His vocal acrobatics are simply annoying. He can hit the high notes but in an embarrassing way. His solo Career is over, when QAL is history he will be back to gay bars and cruiseships-this time being billed as "former Queen singer" (sad again). May and Talor have completely lost it. Especially Roger who sad when QPR were active they have to do something new to avoid being a nostalgia act. THat is what they are. Like all those sad bands like Sweet or Nazareth playing their 30 plus year old hits pretending they are still in their heyday. Pathetic. Seeing Roger inking his whole Body is pathetic as well. The guy clearly has lost it like Brian. They desecrate the Queen legacy with this muppet, and the icing on the cake of bad taste is the crowning of AL at the end. Can it get any more disrespectful? I have never seen a Major Rockband losing it and making themselves completely ridiculous by hiring a casting muppet with no Musical Talent whatsoever. He doesnt fit at all. I lost every respect for them now. Sad seeing them end like this. It is a real tragedy

Adam definitely is not as active as Freddie who was in constant motion but he does walk, strut, ride a tricycle and dance in 6 inch heels. Also he is 6 feet 2 or 3 so isn’t as mobile as the little guy was! ;-)
Then again, you think it's a big deal when AL switched the microphone from hand to hand.
Freddie was no little guy. Once again, you try to dimiss Freddie to big up AL. Do you even realize it what you do?

Say how you really feel ;-).
I'm going to say this. I think AL has improved alot in the last couple of years singing certain Queen songs. Save Me was the song that did much to change my views about some things regarding Q+AL. I still think he is not so good with SCC. Not his forte is the heavier songs, IMO.
I still think some times he can still struggle onstage a bit. Out of all the songs he messed up Bohemian Rhapsody...ouch. That and the fact there wasn't many changes during the last tour, actually put a damper on things for me. DOOL only sang twice was a shame, and to add more AL in, while less focus on Freddie...even a bigger shame right there.
I wish the gimmicks would stop, no bike, no crown/cape, and no banter...all of which are past it's sell by date, IMO. The crown and with the addition of the cape, is just appalling.
I'd like the guys to put more effort into the actual music...but I don't expect any changes in the upcoming shows. It will be pretty much the same as last year's I reckon. AL is on holiday, so once again, not much time to rehearse.
I never thought I'd see the day Brian and Roger would tour with someone who came second place in a singing competition. I wouldn't use the *r* word to describe my feelings about certain things, but it has surprised me, some good, some bad...and any mixed feelings too, because this isn't Queen for me. It can't be Queen for me.

Does this mean you're not going to see them this summer?

happystar, here’s a recent pic of “unfit” Adam zip lining in Hawaii enroute to New Zealand for the next leg of the QAL tour:

Holy crap. You never stop promoting him do you? What the heck is a pic of hm zip lining supposed to do? That he did it? No big deal, many people do it every day.

If you're judging Freddie's and Lambert's performance on movement, in the late 70's and 80's David Lee Roth wiped the floor with everyone including Freddie!
I can't say I've ever seen DLR live, but wow at what I've read about his energy onstage from fellow fans...wow.

Vocal Harmony, There you go slagging Freddie off again, saying David lee Roth would wipe the floor with Freddie.
If your a fan the you do not go and say things to belittle your idol and you clearly have.
David Lee Roth never stole the show at Live Aid because Freddie did.
Some say Live Aid was Freddie Mercury's greatest performance ever !
Try reading your post again then read my reply to it.

No I wasn't slagging Freddie I was making a point about your continued Lambert assault. This time claiming he moved around more than Lambert, all I did was point out that if you're judging live performances on how much the singer used the stage David Lee Roth out did every one including Freddie.

You don't even get sarcasm.

From now on I'll just pretend you don't exist on here like most of the intellectually mature members of this forum.

Bullet with butterfly wings, i 100% agree with every word on here that you say, although if i had said that Vocal Harmony would have been on my back yet again slagging me off, as he or she is such a negative entity.
Yes Queen are crap and i have been saying that since Lambert got involved with May & Taylor but thank god Deacy had more sense to get out while he has his dignity.
Freddie would piss himself laughing at how pathetic Queen have become.
Mercury always steered May & Taylor away from failure (even Smile) which was going no where until he came along.
So thanks for your wise wise words and yeah everyone else on here are bonkers.
Queen are those four guys from 1971 - 1991 end of. What is happening now is as you say degrading and the lowest of the low for a rock band that once ruled the rock kingdom
which has turned into a joke.
I don't think VH is slagging Freddie off. Even I would say Freddie messed up, I have heard that from bootlegs especially. Even with Freddie messing up, he still is better than AL.

Queen aren't crap. They are legends.
Q+PR I really liked for the most part. And I still enjoy that more than Q+AL. At least during that time there was no relying on gimmicks, cheesy banter, cape, crown, bikes ;-).
Q+AL is too gimmicky and trying too hard at times. I know many Glamberts eat, drink and sleep what Brian and Roger say and do for Q+AL... sweetcaroline is proof of that.
Queen + isn't Queen for me.

Back at you. At least I add something to the discussions instead of doing what you do, constant promotion, defense, world clocks, streams, crappy fan made posters, glowing tweets and articles.
You don't have much of a thought in your own head, except to say everything is magnificent and perfect...even when it's not. LOLOLOL.

Good thing the rest of the world doesn't agree with you people. One of the European shows sold out in under a minute and they are all selling out very quickly. So obviously someone is wanting to see the show, to the tune of hundreds of thousands of people. QAL would not be performing again if nobody was interested. I would say you guys are definitely in the minority, an extremely tiny, miniscule minority! Carp on while others enjoy the music and that is a lot more fun than constantly complaining. Most people want to hear all the hits and they have so many they can't even begin to cover them in 2 hours, much less the obscure songs. They also love Adam and his singing as it is perfect for Queen music. Nobody was too interested in QPR and based on all the reviews, they weren't too good. But everyone wants to see QAL ,(they have bow toured for 6 successful years and people want MORE!!), thanks to Roger, Brian and Adam who are bringing the music to new fans and old fans. That is all a band could ever want. Brian and Roger can't even accommodate all the places that would love a concert! Obviously, no one agrees with you naysayers. The vast majority of concert goers like everything about this show because it just works. I have seen them twice and the last tour in the States was magnificent. I hope they return here!

You are going to have to realize Q+AL isn't going to last forever. When it's over, that will be the biggest test for AL. I have a gut feeling this might be the last tours, if so it will be a shame if it's exactly the same as the last tour. You are coming from your POV of being a AL fan first. I'm coming from the POV of a Queen fan. I don't expect everyone to agree with me, but you ad sweetcaroline need and want others to agree with you on every little freaking thing.
I have never gave anyone crap for going to these shows or not. Their choice to go or not.
