The tweet I read said Cyndi and Adam were singing separate songs for Cher and then doing a duet as Sonny and Cher in" I got you Babe." That would be awesome, not as good as O Holy Night, but getting there!!

That said, I thought he killed it. His vocals were awesome and it couldn't be sung as a rock song if people are doing a smooth waltz to it. When he doesn't show emotion, then he is a zombie, when he does, it is too much. I thought it was a great version for a dance show as this wasn't a rock concert. Glad to see we are all sticking to our battle lines. Strictly a win for me and I think the song proves he can still hit the high notes which was a discussion a week or so ago.
Looks like he is at the Kennedy Center for the honors show. Everyone is thinking he will honor Cher, probably with Believe. I am sure someone will let us know after the taping tonight. I believe Adam has new management or he wouldn't be singing at all these high profile gigs, the Wicked TV special, today's show, the Kennedy Honors show and the show honoring Elvis in January. Somebody has to be behind all of this. Guess we will see! I for one would like to see him sing O Holy Night on a Christmas show!! Maybe next year, if all of these go well. I am so tired of lip synchers, so he would be a refreshing change![/QUOTE]
I think CLTCL would have suited it so much better.
I wasn't expecting it to be like it was in Q+AL shows and at least I know how it would be in a smaller setting...but I didn't think it quite worked here.

There appears to be lots of people doing songs not just Adam and Cyndi although I'm not sure how many are doing Cher songs.

I used to watch the TV specials at least for a few years. I like the mix of it all.

I think the song was great, both the styling of it and the way in which he sang it. It was different and that is always a good thing if it is done well, which I thought it was. His vocals were impeccable
CLTCL is somehow associated with Elvis for me and might be for others (probably not English people, but..). I honestly didn't realize Queen did it first. I thought the show and possibly Roger and Brian wanted an iconic Queen song which is either WWRY or WTC. Bohemian Rhapsody would have been nice, but I have no clue how one would dance to that. Kudos to whoever balanced the music with the dance, as I was hesitant prior to seeing it. It would never have been my choice for a dance song, but I thought it wound up awesome. People are liking it online as far as I have seen.

He needs all the publicity he can get at this point in his career. It doesn't matter if it is a cover. Ever other star there is singing a cover and it doesn't hurt their careers. I am thinking it is a great thing for Adam and I can't wait to see it on TV. He sang Mad World with Cyndi a few years ago and their voices meshed well and they had chemistry, I thought. I think they should knock I've Got You Babe out of the ballpark.

Just heard one minute of Believe, a slow version, and it is absolutely exquisite. It is basically Adam with a piano and very little else (at that point anyway). That is the type of music, ballads, that he should be singing. His voice is breathtaking. I hope that will also be included with the duet on TV as I don't know if all the songs from everyone will fit into two hours.
Don't know how he managed two performances back to back in such a short time. He must not have slept hardly at all in the last 24 unless he got to snooze on the flight. Don't know how he managed. Believe is going to be wonderful. Those who love Adam's voice are in for a lovely treat!!

Ok, I was wrong. I wonder which cover that AL sang will make the broadcast? I'm thinking it will be duet. I hope it will be good because the other duets he's done recently weren't so good. He's sang with Cindi before, so maybe this will be better.
