I think the song was great, both the styling of it and the way in which he sang it. It was different and that is always a good thing if it is done well, which I thought it was. His vocals were impeccable
CLTCL is somehow associated with Elvis for me and might be for others (probably not English people, but..). I honestly didn't realize Queen did it first. I thought the show and possibly Roger and Brian wanted an iconic Queen song which is either WWRY or WTC. Bohemian Rhapsody would have been nice, but I have no clue how one would dance to that. Kudos to whoever balanced the music with the dance, as I was hesitant prior to seeing it. It would never have been my choice for a dance song, but I thought it wound up awesome. People are liking it online as far as I have seen.
I for one am happy Adam is singing at something as prestigious as the Kennedy Honors. Who would want to give an award or speech when you can be singing? He needs all the publicity he can get at this point in his career. It doesn't matter if it is a cover. Ever other star there is singing a cover and it doesn't hurt their careers. I am thinking it is a great thing for Adam and I can't wait to see it on TV. He sang Mad World with Cyndi a few years ago and their voices meshed well and they had chemistry, I thought. I think they should knock I've Got You Babe out of the ballpark.
CLTCL would have been great if done in the jive sort of dance.
And before I became a Queen fan, for years I thought it was an Elvis song. I was floored when I found out it was a Queen song. Oh well, not as embarrassing as my liking Vanilla Ice back n the day LOL.
AL can give passionate speeches, so that's why I was kind of hoping for that instead of hm singing. Cher is a big deal in the GLBT community after all.
It looks like Adam’s Cher solo is “Believe” and Cyndi’s solo is “If I Could Turn Back Time” and their duet is “I Got You Babe!”

Okay, so what in the world could this tweet mean:
“ATTENTION @AdamLambertFans members! Christmas is coming early!! Watch for BIG announcement on Monday- 12/3! Hint: you def want to make sure your membership is active or renewed ASAP! Please RT!”

New album? New merchandise? The Elvis tribute?
Nothing on Queen boards about a tour coming up. I don't think it's that.
Looks like Adam's Believe was just as good as I thought it was, even The Washington Post" agrees! Per their report:
"Lambert, turning up for the Cher tribute, made an event high point of Cher’s 1998 hit “Believe". It really was incredible and I hope it makes it to the final cut for the TV show. I also saw a bit of Cindy and Adam's duet which was also stellar. Their voices work really well together!

I for one would like to see him sing O Holy Night on a Christmas show!! Maybe next year, if all of these go well. !
Adam was raised Jewish. He won’t do a Christmas song on a Christmas show. That’s what he said.
He only did a snippet in a game on a Chinese TV show, because it would have been awkward not to do so. These guys must have thought, every Western man must celebrate Christmas.
I know he said that, but people change their minds over time. Some of the big shows would be quite advantageous to his career. His Dad is not Jewish so he wasn't raise strictly I am assuming. There are plenty of Jewish performers who have sung Christmas, Elvis, Streisand, Manilow and the list is probably endless. I keep on hoping!!
He doesn't appear to follow the Jewish religion strictly he's even said I'm not that Jewish.

No, he isn’t religious. That’s why he isn’t up to sing Christian Christmas carols either.
His PR assistant twittered this fall about an upcoming Christmas album of one of her clients, but didn’t mention a name. When fans asked her, if it was Adam, she replied: Adam won’t sing Christmas songs. I guess, he hasn’t changed his opinion yet.

I'm sure he wouldn't do a xmas album he doesn't like doing recorded covers of any songs but he did sing some of o holy night on his snapchat randomly and he also did a bit of it last xmas on the Allan Carr chatty man show so he's not totally against it.

‚Oh Holy Night‘ was/is his grandmother‘s favorite Christmas song. That’s why he knows it and always sings that. That’s the not Jewish part of the family and he said, he likes the song.
I don’t know the future.
I only know, that Adam doesn’t like it, when people wish him a Merry Christmas. Not because they don’t know him, but because he feels like it’s rude to assume, that every human being celebrates it. He plays along, he did so on Allan Carr and wished everyone Happy Hollidays in the end.
I find it a bit rude, when fans can’t accept his view. If anything, he defines himself as Jewish. He said so.
I‘m not religious at all. But I think, fans should take that seriously and not just go on and say: Oh, some day, he will change his view. Would you like that?
I rather doubt that singing one Christmas song implies that one is losing his religion. Adam seems to be pretty open minded about everything, not sure why this would be different. I bet if he could sing at the Tree lighting or Kennedy Center, he would go for it.
I am one of those who says Merry Christmas to people I never check to ask if it is offensive. If that is where we are at this point in time, something is wrong IMO. Being PC is totally out of control. I could think of many offensive things, but that sure doesn't make the list! YMMV!

Oh come on. What Rockchic posted was hardly offensive or insulting. Even Queen had done Thank God It's Christmas.
