Once again, I’ve checked in to find great back and forths, and once again found myself learning things.
I have to say again. I adored Freddie, our times together, his generosity, and his senserity. BUT, I must tell
you that I never went home and took notes, or wrote things down, or remembered every intimate thing he might have said because
of who he was. He was a special buddy, who made us feel special. Where I’m going with this is that I’ve known this Thor person since the 70’s,
and after spending a great deal of time with him in the last year, because of the book and him visiting me often, he still tells a story that i’ve
never heard or something I knew nothing about. I often say “how come I never knew that”...not that he needed to share every detail with me, but
I just never knew these things. Every thing I have written here, and for the book, I have done by memory, and if I have forgotten things, or learning things for the first time I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the details that the blog is bringing out. I also LOVE being given homework to do. LOL LOL LOL
I crack “me” up.
P.S. someone asked...I kinda prefer being Lee instead of Kathleen. No harm taken by anyone that calls me that, so if you have, you don’t need to stop, but
just kinda do. I’m here to tell you that I can’t wait until my co-workers see the book, and latch on to the Kathleen thing...NOT. I’m the altacocker at the
store, and all these millienals that I work with, who I’m crazy about, will not be granted imprimatur to call me Kathleen. LOL. THAT might take some doing.

Oops St Jiub!!.....mea culpa
Blenkolove, I consistently spell St Jiub's name incorrectly. I'm sorry too! Lee, I've always thought of you as Lee, but I do think your co-workers are going to absolutely love Kathleen. Just go with it...… BTW, I'd always read that you knew you were really in with Freddie when he gave you a nickname. Phoebe will always be Phoebe to me.
I think I found the edit button, so I'm testing by adding to my original post. Hopefully it works.

Weird Al started out on accordion with "My Bologna" (based on my Sharona by The Knack). I believe "Another One Rides the Bus was his 2nd song for the novelty song radio show "Dr Demento"
Lmao whoops, I've been yelling "KathLEEN" everytime we talk, Lee. Channeling my inner Freddie, picturing fruit hats and such lol. Lee it is!
That reminds me, a couple months ago my friend was over and I was scrolling thru messages to show him something and he spotted you and asked who you were. Casually said "KathLEEN" and he looked at your pic and gave me a face that said "I don't even want to know" lol. He had to ask if Mary was a really a Marty or something after that conversation lol.
Correct me if I'm wrong but villers are you the one with the Queen account that does the chat every week? If so might I suggest a Thor and Lee or NY Daughter one? My daughter follows your page and I heard one of your podcasts about trusted book sources and wrote them down. I got them all on kindle and am reading them now!
I don't know if any of you watch Hot Ones on YouTube but it's a channel that interviews celebrities whie having them eat hot wings with increasingly hotter sauces which sounds odd but it's actually pretty entertaining. They had Werid Al on there not too long ago and he discussed picking songs to parody and meeting the artists of the songs he made money off off haha. Luckily they mostly seemed to take it good spirits. He didn't mention Queen but I wonder what Freddie would think of his ABTD parody. Thor and Lee happy new year I hope you two are having a blessed one.
TSO, that's us but we don't have a podcast, I just hold live chats once a week to clear up rumors and answer questions about Freddie using firsthand sources like Peter, Jim, David Minns etc. I figure there's so much misinformation about Freddie around (and eventhough we're usually a page set just to make Queen fans laugh), with over 10K people following us now, why not use the platform to promote the truth about the man when we can. A few of the topics we've gone over are The Men of Garden Lodge (what happened after Freddie passed on), Barbara Valentin, Freddie's Parents, David Minns, Freddie's Lovers vs Jim Hutton (why was Jim different), and the topics change every week. I try to make sure everything said in the lives can be traced back to trusted sources who were there to see it happening. The Daughters have been quoted quite a few times and new requests for new topics get sent in daily, so there's always something to cover. Glad to say we reach a few thousand people each week and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. Can't wait to promote to book when it comes out, guys.
PS, I'm 29 and I still lol at Weird Al's 'Amish Paradise'.

Katydyd5,
That's funny...the first thing I did after reading Lee's post was to look up alta cocker as well. I had absolutely no idea what it meant. Thanks Lee for expanding my vocabulary! Is there a feminine equivalent to that expression?

Google says it's yiddish. Thank god I thought it was slang for something much kinkier! Alta cocker almost sounds like another classic Freddie phrase haha!
Please do consider a New York daughters topic villers. Thor and Lee have provided you with hours of info to talk about here. I'll ask my daughter to let me know so I can listen in if you do decide to do it!
