Koala, I can see both sides but most of us are so much older than those on Instagram. I dont think they are intentionally trying to be be disrespectful. I do think she cares for Freddie as his fan. They all are just joking around and sometimes it just goes a little far.I hope all parties can resolve this and we all can continue to have fun.I dont think what they said is any different than playing that 50 shades of freddie.I heard it is sexual fantasy as well.Me personally I wouldnt want to fantasize about home fore one he I'd deceased two he was a gay man.I would get no satisfaction out of that at all.To each their own I think there is no harm in fantasy but there should be limits.

The Queen Funko-Pop dolls that I despaired of ever arriving came in the mail today. It only took 5 months. Have to say, I LOVE THEM. I don't collect Funko-Pop dolls, but these are so darn cute. Only problem is deciding where to display them. :)
Rainbow
So pleased for you! Which ones you got, mate?

I had the most wonderful surprise today!
Last week after seeing the lovely Queen tribute band Mercury I entered a competition they did.
If you answered correctly you could win a T Shirt, baseball cap and signed 20 anniversary programme. The question was about what was the name of the impromptu band Queen set up at the Kensington Roof Gardens after Wembley '86 concert. i.e. Dicky Hart and the Pacemakers.
I was one of 43 who got answer correct and I WON! Joseph Lee Jackson contacted me himself to let me know, which I thought was nice!
I chose a Betty Boop t shirt. It's odd as It tried to buy one last week but they only had Large and Extra Large and I need a Small,so could not get one. It's like Freddie was looking out for me, telling me I'd get one for free! I'm so pleased! I've never won a thing (other than an occasional few quid in the national lottery) in my life! Wow! I'm so lucky! :-)

Hey FreddieDarling....Congratulations on your win. That's so exciting! Betty Boop is a great choice for a tee-shirt. Sounds like this is your lucky day, so you should also go out and buy a national lottery ticket while the stars are lined up in your favor!
The Funko-Pops I ordered came as a set of five: Freddie in a harlequin suite, Freddie is his yellow jacket, Roger, Brian, and John.

Rainbow, that's lovely! They are such fun, aren't they. They are cartoonish, but somehow they capture the essence of each guy ! Love my Wembley Freddie! He stands next to my Montreux statues.
Will have to watch till later for that Lottery ticket now it's just after midnight here in England. I always get Saturdays lottery ticket on a Tuesday, too. Maybe I'll get a EuroMillions ticket, too!
Thank you for your congratulations! I'm so thrilled. Yes , I always loved Freddie's Betty Boop shirt and with front and back it's like BOGOF (Buy One Get One Free) I'm so lucky!

Unbelievable. I get back on to see messages from one of sweet and tender hooligan/ Freddie and Jim forever's friends saying I bullied her off of social media. Fuck right off with that. Nobody told her to leave. Just like nobody told her to post smut or lie about who she is. As someone else has pointed out when you post something on a public forum you have to expect people to have an opinion. My opinion is that calling Mr Mercury a useless bottom, discussing how Jim had sex with him and how he had sex with other men in detail and suggesting the men that worked for him were miserable because Mr Mercury was such a "bitch" is distasteful, rude and a sign of being in desperate need of a life. So to those friends of hers before you hop back on your Instagram pages and act like your friend was pushed off a ledge, try to wrap your mind around the facts. I knew these men. These were good lads who had an emotionally draining job and 2 aren't here to defend themselves. I don't find her humour remotely funny. I don't her witty or deep. When you discuss my friend's sexual life in detail and joke about his husband being an arse, you and I have a problem. Your jokes are seen by people who cared for them. Stop and think before you post something. And if you decide to post anyway on a public website don't get your knickers worked up when someone finds your distasteful post distasteful.
There's a joke and then there's being digusting. Your friend's post and discussions did not fall under the joking category for me. And it looks like many others felt the same. I'm afraid I don't find fisting and "gay screaming" jokes to be gut busting.

That's all I'm going to say about this now. I have taken up enough of Mr Thor and Mr Lee's space here. I thank all of you who see and understand my views on this. Your support is greatly appreciated.
Rainbow, I'm glad you finally got those dolls! Every now and then Zullily runs a sale on Funko Pop figures, so I keep watching for Freddie. So far no luck. I know I can get one on Amazon, but I figure if it shows up on Zullily it was meant to be.
FreddieDarling, congrats on your win! You must have quite the Freddie collection by now!

Congratulations, FreddieDarling! What a lovely surprise!
Shaun, I totally understand your anger. The stupidity and drama of social media have made me quit Facebook and Twitter on more than one occasion. I choose to avoid people who exude negative energy. I think that the universe will take care of them in the end. Don't allow fools to sully your memories of the wonderful friends you had (and have). You are loved here and we appreciate your passion.
There is a very fine line between ‘hobby’ and ‘mental illness.’

... by the way, I am bipolar ... and it was not caused by Queen. LOL

Doughnut, thanks for the great link to the interview with photographer Richard Young. I didn't realize that he had taken so many of my favorite pictures of Freddie. There were more than a few pictures that I hadn't seen before and that's always a treat. Another reason I am looking forward to Thor and Lee's book!
