Saint Jiub, I'm not sure the line is all that fine. I have relatives who collect salt and pepper shakers. Hundreds of them. Taking up every horizontal space in every room of their home. At what point does this enter the realm of being "hoarders"? Slippery slope territory.

I was required by contract to attend so many deadly dull meetings over the course of my career that I thought I might perish of boredom. Then I found a quote that said it all. I printed it out on an index card and quietly sent it around the room at one of my last inservice meetings. I knew exactly where it was by the snorts and giggles. Here it is:
"When I die, I hope it is at a faculty meeting or teacher inservice because the transition from life to death would be so subtle."

Since 5 new pages have come about since I last contacted you, I am going in oldest to newest order...I may not finish all today.
First of all, thanks for all the comments about my flooding fiasco. The plumber that I am going through HAS to be the one who is "recommended" by the Association. AND...I could not make an appointment until tomorrow at 11 am. The cynic in me hears about the delay in service and pictures them meeting with the association before 11AM to figure out a way, that despite the outcome, is made to look like my fault. No way, right? people are so honest...always.
So the water overflow happens intermittently and that makes me believe it is when one or two of the units directly above me use THEIR water. I have not used the faucets since before I left for Palm Springs. Well, we will see.

May I just repeat the story that Freddie was so excited to tell me and Lee, paraphrasing here, "Girls, girls, Mama has a husband, I'd like to introduce you to Jim". Now, if Freddie had said, "Girls, girls, just LOOK at this wonderful turnip that my gardener Jim dug up." We would have considered him the gardener. Freddie, seemed to me to be VERY proud of his man! As far as I know, gardeners never stir up such emotions, at least not in the US...LOL
