I don't consider Kashoggis Ship to be dreadful. I like that track.

My Baby does me, Kashoggis Ship, Party, there is three dud songs for a start! I bet Queen discarded better material.

I don't see any problem with Khashoggi's Ship. I think the song would sound great on stage as a part of medley.

Strangely, in context, KS was very exciting crashing into Party. But when the stand alone version was on Deep Cuts it seemed to lose something and I found it quite flimsy.
BM is playing on Party like an animal. If that was a new young band people would be spunking about it.

Well "Party" sounded like Queen jamming in the studio and not caring about detail or quality of the music.
It was a raw sound but not the usual rich grand sound we associate Queen with.

Isn't that what Dragon Attack sounds like and Sleeping On The Side Walk. Though I wouldn't say that there was no care for detail or quality.
The rich grand sound had all but gone on The Game. As an album I thought The Miracle was a much more cohesive album than The Works or A Kind Of Magic.

You cant get any richer Queen sound than Play the game, it was grand regal and very Freddie.
Dragon Attack was the excellent and Brian lets rip on that track, classic May !

I agree Happysar, Play The Game and Dragon Attack are obviously better than Party....The Works, Magic and The Miracle are pretty much on the same level for me. Innuendo was the best they did in years. A true Queen album in every way.

Hey that is one poke in the eye for Vocal Harmony on here then yipppppppppppppppppppppppppe someone actually agrees with me !
VH "i am in the music industry blah blah blah so what ....... you still have terrible tastes.......
dysan · Member since
Dude, don't reduce it to personal tastes, especially when your previous post had such incredible flawed logic.
Someone saying they like what is generally accepted to be a flimsy song because it holds nice memories is every bit as worthwhile as someone saying they like something because it's a technical marvel.

Just my personal opinion, A Kind Of Magic is better than The Game, for me as their best 80s albums.

It's the way he goes about things that people Don't like. He's not the only one who dislikes Lambert....and most people will agree the first 2 tracks on The Game are better than The first
2 tracks on The Miracle. I understand why people Don't like him though ??
