Thistleboy Dont you dare spout off about sabotaging threads because you and vocal barmony have done just that to mine , you are two faced and just cannot see who is really in the wrong here.

Mary always knew that she would inherit the house. She wanted it to be a museum for his fans to visit . Freddie forbade it....it was his very private space . He wanted her to live in it with her boys...he was their godfather and he dearly loved her and them ...as family. He didn't want fans or film crews in his house and I'm not sure he would approve of anything Maylor have done recently ..including this film.
She was the one person he totally trusted and she has never let him done . Do you really think he would like to see his wonderful music being used in adverts !

First thing she asked before moving in was" How long does the virus stays live in open air?"
Then visited a local incinerator...

flodog : Queens music has been used a lot in adverts here in the UK so it is a bit late for saying Freddie would not want his music been used in adverts.
Mary has had lots of magazine deals and made money out of Freddie and garden lodge she has had photographers flashing in every room. Magazines like Ok had a glossy spread many years ago. I wonder if Mary donated her royalties to the Mercury phoenix trust or she banked it?

Happystar, you say you lived with Freddie for years , who do you think in your opinion should have been left the house and his share of the royalties.

would you have liked his house to be turned into a museum like Graceland

No, you utter moron. Chopin and Panchgani both provided concrete evidence as to who ruined your thread. It was YOU. And then you couldn't handle when people had a go at you for your stupidity.

You then whinged like a bitch because your thread had been "sabotaged" - the irony being that YOU are doing the SAME THING on this one, with yet more stupidity.

Try not to think about it any more. It might damage your brain - and by fuck, it doesn't really need more damaging.

Vh Freddie was a very ill man, he may have made the wrong decisions, and i think Jim Hutton deserved more respect than what he got and Mary treated him unfair.
When Freddie was alive the homeless figures in this country were no where as massive as they are now, so that is a case for not arguing over that one.[/QUOTE]

A long time before Freddie was ill, he said in interviews that his house and fortune would be left to Mary because she was the only person who could cope with it (the house and money). So if
you're implying that because he was ill his mind was effected and a fully functioning Freddie would have written a different will, I don't think he would have, if indeed those details were written that late into his will.

Obviously Mary is not coping though is she?
One minute she has the glossy magazines around to Garden Lodge and the nest she is chasing the fans away.
Nice lady eh!

I'm not sure if she does actually chase them away, but let's play Devil's Advocate.....would you not be fed up if thousands of people gathered day in, day out at your door to take photos and write stuff on the walls? GL might be a sacred venue to you but to Mary, it's her home. Freddie is no longer there and there are many, many ways to pay tribute to him without gathering at her door which must be very irksome now. I'm sure she appreciates his fans, but every day, 24/7? No, there comes a point where enough is enough. Seriously, try not to see through Freddie tinted glasses and your POV as a fan - think of it from her POV.
