Surely it must feel sad to Brian and Roger? I'd have thought every concert would have a sadness to it - performing the same songs they did with Queen, but without Freddie there. Surely you can't ever play and not think about and feel that?

They look spectacularly happy performing music they have created with John and Freddie. They have every right to do so and people have every right to ignore them.

Sweetcaroline@ A lot of Queen fans would have preferred Brian & Roger going solo than the Queen+ rubbish, they are worth so much more than going around the world in circles playing the same songs over and over plus Queen truly does not exist anymore it is just a brand name to get bums on seats.

Maybe that's what some Queen fans would like but it's obviously not what they want to do or they could have been doing that all along. IMO at their ages they deserve to do whatever makes them happy and if people still want to see them while they're doing it then it's obviously viable. No one could see them playing and doubt they're having fun and enjoying themselves.

This post makes perfect sense. The anti Queen+ collection should read and learn from this.

Still Brian is like our conservative government, he does not listen to the ardent Queen fans. May is stubborn as a goat, and maybe that is why there was so many rows with May & Mercury.?

Lucy Boynton is not really Rami's girlfriend. This is one of those Hollywood arrangements created to generate more buzz for the movie and give the lead actor someone to pair up with at the award shows. Their body language together in pictures at all these events tells the tale. It's a platonic friendship only. IMO Rami is gay. Nothing wrong with that at all, but it's kind of ironic in a sad way that even now in 2019 an actor has to pretend to be something he's not for the sake of getting roles. Doubly ironic considering he playing a character who felt he had to hide his true identity until the day before he died.
If only Freddie Mercury were here to soak up all the love he's been getting around the world. He'd definitely say domo arigato to the Japanese fans who've pushed Bohemian Rhapsody past $100 million just in that country alone.

Japan's gross of $100 million is much more than any other market, except the domestic U.S./Canada box office, where Bohemian Rhapsody has made $208.5 million. That just edged it past A Star Is Born at the domestic box office; Bohemian was already waaaaayy ahead of that film overseas. So far, Bohemian has picked up a staggering $624.6 million at the foreign box office, according to Box Office Mojo. (Compare that to $209.5M for A Star Is Born.) The current worldwide total for the Queen movie is $833,201,451. And that's off a reported production budget of $52 million!
Crazy success.

These many awards prove we should have more faith in Brian and Roger. They waited to find the right guy to portray Freddie after Sacha and others. Even though the timeline isn’t perfect, they have a movie that includes the main parts of Freddie’s life. They also have been careful and respectful in their touring choices and the beautiful sets and lighting themes for their shows.

The only faith I have in Brian and Roger these days is absolutely nothing

"They also have been careful and respectful in their touring choices and the beautiful sets and lighting themes for their shows. " is this a joke?
