These many awards prove we should have more faith in Brian and Roger. They waited to find the right guy to portray Freddie after Sacha and others. Even though the timeline isn’t perfect, they have a movie that includes the main parts of Freddie’s life. They also have been careful and respectful in their touring choices and the beautiful sets and lighting themes for their shows.

The timeline is wrong in some cases, flat out wrong.
I think the last years of Freddie's life was a huge part of things, what great music and great courage came from that time.
And of course you would manage to squeeze in about the Q+AL tours.

The only faith I have in Brian and Roger these days is absolutely nothing

"They also have been careful and respectful in their touring choices and the beautiful sets and lighting themes for their shows. " is this a joke?[/QUOTE]

A Glambert sweetcaroline ( major AL fan ) said that who hypes things up so that's all you need to know right there.
She truly believes it.

Miss bait and switch icy isn’t happy unless she causes trouble everywhere she posts. I’m praising the remaining Queen guys but the only one who matters is the one who isn’t here anymore. I don’t think Brian and Roger are responsible for what happened to him but many people treat them like they are. How dare THEY still be alive and still wanting to share their incredible music!

Miss sweetcaroline who reads and replies to my posts anyway, even though you said you were not going to do it. Funny that. Bait and switch yourself.
Who said I think Freddie was the only one member of Queen who matters? I never have, that's a fact.
Wtf? What are you implying that Brian and Roger are responsible for and how? Freddie? AL?
You know full well that there is already threads in the Q+AL section for you to promote and big up about Lambert and Q+AL, but you want to do in the Queen section lately. Obviously that's why you started to post in here. Once again, here you are squeezing Q+AL in any way you can any where you can.
Do you think for a second that there is less of Freddie and John included in these Q+AL shows is respectful? At least those two men could be shown a bit more than they have been in recent tours. Of course, you have no issues about that, because once again what is done is careful and respectful about the touring choices, the lighting e according to you. I'd rather have more Freddie and John being included in a montage of sorts( DOOL was perfect way to do it, go on mock me for liking that again ) than AL acting like he wants to find a boyfriend in the audience during the shows for example.

By the way...if you truly want to get AL new fans in Queen threads, once again you are going the wrong way about it. Just so you know, this is exactly how you put people off from wanting people to support AL.

Just ignore the nasty troll who thinks she can interpret and translate everything I post into HER unwarranted hatred!

What is with you this evening? AL not being in the news or something?
I'm not a nasty troll and I don't have any uwarranted hatered. It comes to you throwing your hissy fits again, I see.
You have had very little to say about the biopic, but you want us all to think and believe that Q+AL has been nothing but respectful and careful in their choices and lighting. Not that black and white by the way. Well maybe it is for you since you take no notice of anything other than AL.
Not in the mood for your shit stirring tonight. You couldn't ingore me me for very long and now you want others to ignore me. People here can...and will...make up their own minds. You don't get to say how people should feel but that's what you want... everyone to feel the same as you do.

The movie is Brian revisionist history at its worst.

Although I have refused to see this mediocre movie, I still have negative opinions based on the intentional false portrayals in the movie that I have seen and heard:

* The portrayal of Freddie breaking up the band for several years because of his solo album.

* The portrayal of the other three band members as saints who went home to their families.

* The stereotypical depiction of the gay lifestyle as epitomized by Paul Prenter.

* The insinuation that Freddie would have been better off denying his sexual identity and marrying Saint Mary.

* The portrayal of John Deacon as a loser.

I've watched the biopic. I agree with what you say except for the fourth on your list. I didn't get that impression at all.

Saint Jiub, you should go see the movie for yourself instead of believing other opinions. I didn’t think John Deacon was portrayed as a loser and that Freddie should have married Mary.

There you go again, saying how people should feel.
Pray tell, what did you think of the movie? Are you ever going to say something about it instead of managing to squeeze AL and Q+AL in the discussion about it?

I hear autoerotic asphyxiation is an incredible rush. Should I try that too?

A few weeks ago, a QZ-er commented that a friend believed Freddie would have been better off with Mary.

Also this Forbes article stated the same thing:

"Freddie is absolutely presented as bisexual in this picture, but the film essentially argues that he would have been fine had he remained in a monogamous hetero relationship with Lucy Boynton’s Mary Austin. Whether it’s homophobic or old-school slut-shaming, it’s icky."
