We The Circle of Eidolon have watched and learned for many years. Recently we decided to let our voices be heard through these threads.

One of the things we have learned is that the one who hides behind the name Clarity has hidden behind many names. The one constant thing that appears in most of his posts is the never ending river of stupidity which he swims in.

He, with this racist remark, proves yet again that hate fuels so much of what he believes. We will stand with FunLovingCriminal against Clarity.

The moderator on this site at best seems to hold a powerless title, he many times over should have removed Clarity from this site.

The Circle of Eidolon has spoken. Learn from what we say, but more so learn from the levels of hateful stupidity that Clarity has reached and don't repeat them yourself.

Maybe I saw the wrong one, but I didn't see any racism there. Please post here to clarify your argument.

This forum is not the nicest place at the best of times.

I would hope people might be generally courteous (or at least not intentionally rude and cruel) to each other, especially considering we are all of us here because of a common interest in Queen. That in the most part people are actively happy for any excuse to be nasty towards each other or put each other down on this forum doesn't speak very well in my mind about Queen fans in general, which I personally find dismal.

However, the post you refer to FunLovinCriminal is unequivocally totally unacceptable. I agree with you and with the wisdom of The Circle of Eidolon and the post should definitely be removed immediately.

"I bet he's religious and black" = "racism" = "burning crosses" = "need to complain and calling for more censorship". Sad. By the way, 99% of Queenzone readers would never find that comment unless you pointed at it. So, good job at promoting that person's ideas.

I think it's more clumsy stereotyping than ingrained racism.

But it's the internet, so I'll stay out of it.

Fun Lovin Criminal has called me a community worker whose opinion they don't want to hear (while at the same time saying everyone should be allowed to voice any opinion. So apparently, opinions so extreme as that Mary is a greedy, gold-digging con-artist, lying actress who hated Freddie since 1976, wanted revenge since then & stuck around for decades, her hatred only growing, waiting only for cold, hard cash, caring nothing for Freddie are fine, but me saying that those sort of comments are, in my view not OK is lecturing and should be silenced. Personally I think these kind of views have strayed WAY beyond "opinion" and into slander) in other threads, but Fun Lovin Criminal is still right here.

I wish people were not cruel towards anyone in ways that they ought not be, but outrightly racist comments are not ok. I personally don't find the comments just clumsy, although I will say I'm not sure why that thread was begun in the first place - it is only getting a person who is either making some sort of unfunny joke/parody at 1950's opinions or who genuinely has crazy, extreme views more airtime (and if they have monetised the video as stated in the thread, also more cash.)

This topic has made me think though - imagine if no hateful comments were allowed on these forums at all! I wonder how many people would be left on the forum?!

The topic starter is a troll who has no interest in Queen, has made nothing but nasty comments here and who has no regard for the other Queenzoners who come here to learn and to offer expert information.

He had nothing to offer in the thread about Mary except for false information. He is just here to stir up trouble, be a nuisance and try to get attention.
