Cd or LP if QP saw the opportunity (vinyl was still more strong than cd), don't try to be smarter than you are.
See you next Tuesday.

I love The Miracle so this boxset will be more than welcome. Hope the "unreleased stuff" inside is generous.
By the way, have any of you seen the upcoming Supergrass and Muse boxsets? their content and price? let´s see how QPL manages this issue, but I foresee the comparison will hurt, once more.

Well, what hurts most to me is that they DO have all kinds of gems in their archives: both studio and live stuff!
It's beyond me why they do not offer a wealth of unheard stuff in those box sets. Let's hope this changes with this Miracle box (I think not though).
If the NOTW box set would have included not 1 but 3 discs of studio rarities AND 4 complete soundboard shows (2 from the US and 2 from Europe, assuming they have Europe/UK soundboards) AND Houston on Blu ray/DVD, then I would gladly have paid 250 or 300 euro!
So QPL, offer us good content (with MANY unheard stuff) and we'll pay good money, I'm sure (even moreso than what we pay now hahahahaha)

Whilst there are clearly no live shows to accompany The Miracle, I wonder if perhaps there is any recordings of them playing any of the tracks live in the studio that could make the boxset? We already know that 'Innuendo' (the track) came together with them playing live together in the studio, and they'd previously recorded quite a bit of material live in the studio with David Bowie during the 'Under Pressure/Hot Space' sessions, so whilst unlikely they'd release it even if it exists, it COULD be possible; I Want It All and Headlong would easily lend themselves to them running through them as a four piece.

Agreed. If they just look at what is out there already and include that I'd be happy. I hope they don't do the usual 'it's not finished so lets keep it in the vault' as it's, without question, all fascinating.

Nobody knows what is in the vaults apart from GB and Jim Beach maybe

But the difference is, they don't know the value of it. Or at least one of them does, the other one is happy just to boast about it.
We can perhaps conclude again that these projects start with good intentions but the 'estate' reject 90 percent of it.

'but the 'estate' reject 90 percent of it.'
Yes, but as the artists, they're entitled to!!
It's their body of work.... we, as the die hard fans, don't have an automatic right to have access to it.

True and I Understand the Artist to not release something that is only halfway finished. As sad as that is for diehards

bound to be the magical disc of instrumental versions and remixed crap of just vocals and drums etc...

Yes of course I agree 100%. But they need to realise we've heard, and LOVE far worse than the Miracle out takes / demo. This isn't our first rodeo.

I can't see them putting the Miracle live b-sides on it. But agree that general shape would be nice.

To be honest, I don't either. I just added Stone Cold Crazy and My Melancholy Blues because they are good fillers! Queen will want a good number of tracks for that second disc if they were to do it and for it to be at least 40 minutes long because otherwise they could've combined the two discs.

^ All these predictions are absolutely useless, as all you can do is to count all previously released and some well-known unreleased stuff. You don't know anything about what is in the vaults and what can be done with it for such kind of release...
... and especially when you think that 1970's live material is the right choice for 1980's studio release.
