I do enjoy watching their interaction with each other as portrayed so well in the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. I have the DVD and also watch it when it is on HBO.

Freddie and John were a huge part of Queen. I guess you can't talk about any of that because they aren't in the public eye or making music? Is that how your small mind works. If so, don't you ever babble on about AL being the new Elvis, Bowie etc you stupid, sparkle cow.

Icy, they may be a huge part of Queen, but they are not here to talk about now. I bought and listened to Queen music all my life, but I didn't know that much about them. It wasn't as easy before the internet and not when you have kids and are living all over the world and the US. Other things were just more important. Since I have been watching Adam since Idol and followed him to QAL, my interest lies there. What would I discuss about John? He isn't performing now, nor is Freddie and QAL is what I know about and really enjoy. Since this is the QAL thread I keep my comments to the people in the band now. I don't understand why that is such a foreign idea to you. We sometimes mention new Elvis, Bowie since Adam has been compared to them. Roger Taylor mentioned the new Elvis and he knew them both, so don't sniff your nose at it. We are not sparkle cows. I don't think you bring much to this board except for yelling at and making nasty comments about other people who don't share your Freddie obsession. Life isn't about Freddie and John for most people. You don't discuss or talk about anything ever that has to do with Queen. I have yet to see a well thought out, informative post from you. They are all snide and nasty, either cutting down Adam or other posters with your comments and constant negativity. What else are you going to hold against Queen fans? Some very busy people were and are still members of the fan club, it was the way to get news back then.

What's the matter with you today? Angry because the set list wasn't perfect last night, and it wasn't a Q+AL concert. You take offense at anything I post. But still, you had to have a pop at me once again.
Everyone has their own priorities, some want to discuss the past and go over things that happened over 30 years ago but others don't, no right or wrong and no one NEEDS to know all about a band and it's members to enjoy their music, there's plenty bands I listen to and enjoy the music without even knowing the band members names much less about their lives.
I took an interest in Queen probably because of the fact they were all so individually talented and educated, not saying other bands aren't but they didn't capture my attention in the same way but that's not a prerequisite to liking the music and I don't look down on anyone who chooses not to get that involved.
QAL are currently active so there's things to discuss that are current, not everyone likes to reminisce about things some are more forward moving and prefer to live in the present, no idea why that should be such a hard concept to understand.
Anyone interested in reminiscing can discuss Queen in the two Queen parts of the forum but shouldn't be bitched at for wanting to discuss QAL on here, pathetic that no one can have a decent conversation about the current shows etc without a major shitstorm on every single page.

Why are you mistaking current for the music rather than the fact they're touring? If U2 were touring singing stuff from The Joshua Tree that would still be a current tour with their current interpretation of it regardless it's been out since 1987 and I'm sure none of the fans would complain about it.
People like to discuss the current tour, nothing wrong with that.
That was U2's only nostalgia tour so it pales in comparison to QAL who are nostalgic through and through. The arguments Glamtarts have are "we are in the now/we move forward - Freddie fans live in the past" - yes you are-playing 30 -40 year old songs lol. Funny really.
