Jizz+ please! This isn't the best way to post to your fellow Queen fans!

On the subject of the song, I personally really like it.
I always knew I was a star And now, the rest of the world seems to agree with me-Freddie Mercury

@Brenski you do post some shit on here.
i bet you were a joke of the prison's when you were a screw.
I pity all the offenders dealing with you .
You think you're competing, but you don't even know where the starting gate is. You're being completely outwitted, once again.

Dunning Kruger effect - look it up. You are their poster child. People like you are why scientists researching such conditions can make a living. That's the closest you'll ever come to being useful to anyone.

The William Orbit mix has some ok ideas in it but is executed absolutely terribly and from a sonic point of view sound like a student bedroom project from the advent of Cubase
That's even being too kind.

Later in the song he changes the chord structures to the point of being atonal. It's unlistenable.

He's long past his expiry date. Ray of Light was a fabulous album, but that stuff just doesn't fly anymore.

"People who scored in the lowest percentiles on tests of grammar, humor, and logic also tended to dramatically overestimate how well they had performed (their actual test scores placed them in the 12th percentile, but they estimated that their performance placed them in the 62nd percentile)."

I like the track but I don't like the autotuned vocals. Great vocal performance though.

Someone a few pages back - before this thread turned crazy - mentioned Machines should've been a bonus track.

I have to disagree. I think it's genuinely experimental and rather catchy. The whole "synth versus guitar" ("machines versus humans") idea is good and in keeping with the theme of the album. Indeed it might be where the idea for the album theme came from.

It's also half way between Radio Gaga and Hammer To Fall in terms of synth-led versus guitar-led.
Also good to see a rare Roger/Brian collaboration.

I always felt that Machines belonged on the Metropolis soundtrack

It´s a nice song. But of course it has no typical big hit potential.
You could´ve place it in a daily soap or a TV ad to get in touch with bigger audiences. But that option is gone I guess.
In the end it´s a little gem for Queen fans - not more
Munich - Cocaine and low taxes ! You can add me on FB - Musicland Munich QZ - don`t miss the QZ !

well yes. wonder if Queen kept it for themselves, or Moroder heard it, but didn't like it?
