Well - regardless of those "we love the fans" "playing music is all that matters" and other timeless bullshit platitudes - ever was it thus - money is what makes people form bands, become singers, actors, comedians etc
Any other claims - at any artist's career stage is just trite nonsense

I very much doubt May & Taylor need the money as they are multi millionaires at that !
They love playing live only they are not bothered who takes lead vocals now.
I believe Queen's recording days are finished now and they will not ever record another note.

If they were not bothered than why only tour with 1 guy? Seems like they are bothered in his favour.
As for recording, you never know. Believe what you will but unless they confirm it and die after without a new recording, it's still possible.

They hang around with Lambert because he has a good following of girls . Trust me Adam has ruled out new music with Queen and Brian and Roger cannot be arsed going into recording studios at there age.

Unless you know the future, which you can't, you never know. Like I explained, it's possible till they die or are physically unable to anymore. Also never heard that argument from them as to why they tour with Lambert so I don't think your right about that.

Brian knew if he could get Lambert on board then Queen would start been in the limelight again.
Although many hate the combo and think they are a parody of themselves some actually think they are still a serious rock outfit, how strange is that ?
There are still Queen by brand but certainly not by name.

This is a ridiculous thing to say for two reasons:

1. Touring has to be ten times as arduous as "going into a studio" to record.
2. Other bands the same age as Brian and Roger have recorded new albums in addition to performing live tours.

ELO - "Alone in the Universe" (2015), "From Out of Nowhere" (2019). Both albums sandwiched nicely between three tours.

Deep Purple: "Now What" (2013) tour started before LP and continues to this day.

Who: "Who" (2019) - again in addition to a 2019 tour

Paul McCartney - "Rest" (2017) touring before LP and through to 2019 & 2020


The ONLY reason for not recording a new LP is that music sales do NOT make the artists any real money these days. ALL real money is made form touring.
