Oh come on, give it a break. The original post was quite funny actually. And to be frank, I suspect Brian's astronomy publications rank as high among proper astronomy researchers as last year's snow, i.e. do not rank at all, not even a footnote, mate!

PS. I appreciate Brian might be doing it to highlight some of the astronomy stuff and bring its' proper authors to the general eye, but my gut feeling tells me he's just doing it to please his own ego, something he's been specialising in since the QPR days. Look at Cohen, for example, he's the exact antithesis of what Brian has become. In his last 10 years, he toured the world and produced four, well-acclaimed and well-received albums. Without any grandiose statements on politics or living well, even though he was probably more than qualified to do that.
